APS School Board candidates?

This is direct from Chen Ling's website:"The diversity of backgrounds has the potential to enrich the experience for all children. It also creates risks that children will fall behind or face safety risks due to bullying or juvenile behavior."

Is he really saying what I think he's saying? Diversity of backgrounds creates safety risks in his world!

Can’t vote for Zuraya. She’s got the endorsements but sounds clueless.

Another +1. If she had spent the last two years getting truly engaged in APS instead of being groomed as the next Spanish-speaking candidate with zero qualifications she might be worth something.

Kathleen has my true heartfelt vote. I’m voting for Larry more because Chen and Zuraya are awful candidates.

He may be the candidate for the small vocal AEM crowd, but going to his website is eye opening, so thanks for the prodding. I can’t vote for him.

Zuraya joined that committee yesterday, probably just so she can say she's on it. She must have mentioned it 3-4 x during the forum. I guess it's something but it's not real experience.

Even aside from Chen Ling's awful, awful, awful racist statement (that he doesn't even seem to think is a problem since HE put it on HIS campaign website!!!), his website is all techy corporate gobbledy gook. It's clear he's spent no time engaging with APS, or any school system. No teachers don't need more automation. HARD pass.

They post any article they can find about learning loss and school closures, yet have a thin grasp on what the actual data says and ignore all the nuances. As usual.
