Seems like he wanted to/sort of told Greg to do it? Like he said "don't tell" but then also told him that peopel should know Tom was on the plane when it happened. I could see him telling reporters just to ensure his name is in the mix. |
Kerry is pointless. Less of her, please.
|
I really don't like her for like how the actress is portraying her, but I do enjoy watching everyone else react to her. It occurred to me that Logan is (I think) still married to Marcia, they are just living apart and he'd been "with" Kerry. So: (1) We may get to see a funeral with Marcia, Kerry, Kendall/Shiv/Roman's mom, and all the kids, which could be... interesting. (2) Unclear what Kerry stands to gain here -- she's not going to inherit because they not only weren't married but weren't even publicly dating, and everyone else hates her. So I didn't really get it when everyone else on the plane was acting like she hit the jackpot. Are we going to find out Logan changed his will to give Kerry something meaningful (especially Waystar shares)? Especially if it turns out it happened that last day, after he had the fight with the kids and told them they are not serious people? That would be interesting to watch play out. |
Yes, catch up. He called Greg from the airplane and had Greg leak it to the reporters on the boat to the wedding. |
It sort of did- there were pictures of the cast filming a funeral and casket, but the speculation was that Logan’s brother died (to what significance that would have been, I’m not sure.) |
How does Tom benefit from the leak? Everyone knew their stock would tank and the deal with the hot swede would likely not go through. How does that benefit Tom? |
If the uncle had died there is speculation that he would leave his voting share to Greg. But he did threaten to leave it to Greenpeace but who knows. |
More like a void when a larger-than-life parent withholds their approval. |
Yeah, they can expect to feel a lot of grief, and anger, over the realization that with their dad dead, they will now for sure never get the love and approval they needed and wanted from him their entire lives. Like as long as he was alive, there was always the hope he would show up for them as they hoped he would since childhood. Now that hope is gone and they will grieve that as much ir more than the person. And may feel anger/rage about it, and may struggle to process that. You know, given the level of emotional neglect these people have all experienced, it’s actually pretty amazing they are as functional they are. Like they aren’t just dead inside. Clearly care about each other, have a sense responsibility for others, etc. God bless the nannies. Probably the only people standing between people like this becoming absolute psychopaths (Trump had Nannie’s too I’m sure, but his dad sent him to military school which I think is just more if the same withholding garbage). |
In hindsight Logan’s final speech to them was *chef’s kiss*, brilliantly delivered by Brian Cox. |
Part of the leak was that Tom was with Logan when he died, making him seem important. Logan was the only one keeping Tom around. And previously shiv, but you know how that’s going. Will be interesting to see how he hitched himself back to her as the tide turns away from him now that Logan is gone. |
Karolina knows too but I think she’d be supportive of Gerri. Agree on Kerry throwing some wrenches in whatever plans, otherwise this feels like a long extended elaborate plot line. |
What was in the computer folder Tom told Greg to erase? |
Well as someone who had a very dysfunctional childhood and complicated relationship with a parent who died unexpectedly, I thought it was believable. The Roy kids are so emotionally stunted, they had such a difficult time saying I love you in his final moments, and being vulnerable at all. It was like they were fighting with how they really felt and how he thought they were supposed to feel. Incredible acting. |
Presumably logistics for what happened after Logan fired cyd (the head of ATN.) |
