Gwyneth Paltrow court case

Totally agree. She claimed she was being chased by paps and the bus was stopped, but it's clear that's not true. It's one of the reasons I'm skeptical of her story in this case.

Also, unless gwyneth was snowplowing straight down Bandana, how would he get his skis between hers? It’s impossible to get your skis between someone else in front of you unless they are in a wedge and not turning. It’s just such a strange story. Deer valley only stays open until the first in April to catch all the California families on spring break, so the resort was undoubtedly full of kids on spring break, especially on bandana.

That run is a busy because it’s the only way to get to empire/lady Morgan, which serve more advanced terrain, and it also goes to the montage, which might have been where the Paltrow group were staying. It’s always busy.

It's not a weird idea if he really was right behind her. If you felt a body up against your backside what would you think? That's her version of events but it's not hard to see how her mind went there. Obviously he has a different version of events.

Weird that it's always so crowded and busy yet only 1 witness.

While skiing and someone plows into you? Nope. Not a normal thing to consider.

.
Who said GP was normal? People are not all the same.

Exactly. Given all the other self involved things she has said over time, I actually think this completely fits what she might have been thinking. Kind of a dumb thing to say, but I could envision her thinking this.

Other parts of this seem inconisistent thus far - was he knocked unconscious? then how did he refuse ski patrols help? If he really had broken ribs from this, it is difficult to believe he would have refused help.

Also kind of weird that there were very few witnesses if this was a crash big enough to knock someone unconscious and break ribs on a crowded green run.

Sometimes when you fall it takes a while to realize you are injured. I fell on a steep mogul field and told everyone I was fine and skied for the next 3 hours without a problem. The next day realized I had whiplash and had bruised my ribs, and I couldn’t ski for a week. I skied once with an acquaintance who fell on a mogul run and said she was fine. We skied back to the base and the next day she told me she had torn her acl. Is there any dispute that he had broken ribs? Not something you can fake on an X-ray.

Ok - clearly I'm at a low point but I actually watched the dumb trial - - and I'm astounded by how unprepared and just how much of a buffoon Gwyneth Paltrow's lawyer is....

She was so calm in the clips I saw. Even if I was confident in my testimony, I know I'd be a nervous wreck. But, I'm not a famous actress who has been in front of cameras for most of her life. The CEO? of Tik Tok was similarly calm under intense pressure this week.

Clearly, you aren't following the trial. Thus, your dumb take.

Clearly lots of people aren't actually listening to the trial but talking about their general feelings about Gwyneth, as if it had any relevance to the topic. Where are your deep insights? Or are you too caught up in analyzing her complexion and choice of eye wear as your hot take?

I mean, if someone is always frothing about wellness, why shouldn't her looks or lack thereof be talked about even if she has something else going on? Which in her case isn't a critically acclaimed movie ( that ship has sailed ) but her shilling wacky products riddle pseudo scientific facts .

Because that has nothing to do with the court case maybe start another one on Health & Beauty and take it there.

Of course it has nothing to do with the case but *repeating myself again*, she's the one who has been positioning herself as a wellness guru . Turns out the wanna-be is on trial for something else OBVIOUSLY . Therefore , people have the right to say Miss IV drips, Miss insert jade eggs in your vagina looks unimpressive for all her wacky wellness shilling .

She should make this stop before she forces her kids to testify. She already said they didn’t witness anything. I would settle and say we agree to disagree but the energy from the back and forth is not worth it. I would then move on with my hot husband and make more weirdly fascinating products.

I was more astounded by Sanderson’s clown car of attorneys, especially the woman and her lame jokes.
Cue the trombone music when they all roll out for sidebar

I think we have all been conditioned by too much law and order and other law dramas to expect high quality entertaining court cases in real life.
