| We should consider it circumstantial evidence in support of the story. Yeppers. |
| The problem for Boebert is that even if it's not true - and I tend to believe abandoning her SIL and son in the accident is true - litigation will open up a world of discovery and her life si probably full of trash. Really doubt Ted Cruz or the Koch client want to be deposed either. She will not sue. |
I’ve seen it bandied about on the internet (without attribution, so grain of salt this appropriately) that her net worth is in the millions now. That seems like a bit much. |
And how exactly would she have acquired those millions? She's a HS dropout, ran a crappy little cafe in a small town, has a husband who is into exposing himself, and worked as an "entertainer". None of it adds up to millions in net worth. |
Don’t forget the money her husband “earns” from the job he’s in no way qualified for. |
Please explain some more about that. He always seemed like a cool guy to me. |
Flashing your genitals at a bunch of underage girls seems cool to you? |
Yep, getting arrested for domestic violence is very, very cool if you aspire to the pantheon of white trashdom. |
The fact a lawsuit wasn’t filed within 48 hours, followed up by a barrage of rightwing media appearances, tells us all we need to know. Too many skeletons. |
I wonder how long the entire slow drip of information will take. As I recall, they began going after Cawthorn slowly in the beginning, too, and then more and more and more was released. |
Yeah, but with Cawthorne, they HAD the goods. Those photos of him in lingerie and the video in the hotel room with his cousin(?). The images/videos were there and the evidence required no explanation. It spoke for itself. He admitted straight away that they were in fact authentic. With Boebert; some grainy images that look like they came from MySpace in 2006, purportedly of her are nowhere near as damning as what they had on Cawthorne; especially when 2 of the images that were supposedely of her have been located as having been on the internet for years. Here's an article from the Daily Beast, a very leftward leaning publication, detailing how utterly absurd this whole thing is. Anybody who believes this probably also believed Jussie Smollett and, ironically enough, Chritine Blasey-Ford (but not Tara Rheade). This Boebert woman is as wacky and out there as they come. She's basically a right wing version of the squad and a complete RWNJ but that doesn't make some random pictures taken off the internet her nor does it mean she had 2 abortions. It genuinely does scare me the number of people who are willing to believe anything that makes somebody they cant stand look bad even with no credible evidence. She was an escort for Ted Cruz??? Really??? https://www.thedailybeast.com/liberals-rush-to-spread-bogus-lauren-boebert-escort-and-abortion-rumors |
Comet Ping Pong never sued over Pizzagate. I can only assume that Pizzagate is true. That's your literal argument. https://www.washingtonian.com/2016/12/09/comet-ping-pong-has-legal-options-but-they-wont-make-pizzagate-go-away-entirely/ |
Did Comet Ping Pong’s attorney state unequivocally that they would be filing a lawsuit? Their defamation came from random online posts. The Boebert allegations stem from a very specific, identifiable entity that issued a press release. Boebert’s attorney promised a defamation lawsuit. Boebert's attorney sent a letter to the American Muckrakers PAC regarding the claims that she was an "unlicensed paid escort" who had "two abortions," pledging to bring "civil defamation" lawsuits against the PAC. "This will be a costly miscalculation for Muckrakers, Wheeler and Muckrakers’ donors," the attorney added. We’ll see if this lawsuit ever gets filed. |
New goalposts I see. |
Lol. I was trying to help you understand pp’s point since you clearly don’t. The point isn’t that every time someone doesn’t file a slander or defamation lawsuit the allegations must be true. The point is that when your attorney says you have proof that the allegations are false and you will be suing for defamation, but then you never do, it’s because you know damaging information would come out if you sued, so you were just issuing empty threats in an attempt to save face. The goalposts are the same. If Boebert doesn’t sue, it’s because she’s afraid of what will come out if she does. |
