The truth seems to be some posters can't accept that AA woman is running the school system. |
What has she really solved? The only positive thing I see is bring the police back. Otherwise covid has been a S@it show and handled very poorly as has academics and behavior. |
No, we cannot handle someone barely competent... why should she get a free pass because of her race? |
Sad but true |
I tried to take them seriously but their issues are weak at best. It seems more like nitpicking than anything credible. They're biggest issues concern funding sports for disabled children and a recruitment trip to an HBCU. |
Yes. That’s exactly what the teachers said. They said she’s horrible because of her race and because of bocce. They didn’t mention anything about behaviors or curriculum. You might need to practice reading comprehension. |
Wait, what?? When did race get involved? That’s just you. Everyone else is interested in a stronger county for ALL students. |
You may recall the same people posting these threads had been referring to Dr. McKnight as Monifa even which is a clear dog whistle. |
And because some people called her Monifa at some point, then everyone responding is racist? That seems like a pretty big jump. It also seems like you would rather call out that then look at any of the actual issues presented. |
I think they were finally shamed into stopping but their agenda is clear. |
|
No. Sorry. But using somebody's first name is not a racist dog whistle. We also called Dr. Smith 'Jack' and called President Trump 'Donny'. I would agree that its a way to take away their prestige/credibility and make it easier to discredit them. Take away their credentials and title and you feel more empowered to criticize. But that is not racist |
No one is obligated to call her “Dr. McKnight” and the use of first names should not be considered racist. Gendered maybe, e.g. the branding of “Hillary” and “Kamala”, but not racist. As long as she’s Superintendent then I will call her Supt. McKnight. Maybe chill out a little and focus on more important things, like budget priorities and educational outcomes. |
The intent was clearly racist. |
The McKnight stalker is back! |
