Please help me by looking in your fridge or pantry

For science homework for tomorrow, my kid needs to find two brands of food items that have one of the following ingredients: carageenan, algae, alginate (two each so a total of six). I cook almost entirely from scratch and we use a ton of organic and have virtually no processed anything in the house and I can't find anything on our shelves. I can't find anything on the web either. Even the shampoo doesn't have any of these. Can anyone help?

What a sad reflection of the state of the American diet...

I cook everything from scratch as well and would be hard pressed, as we don't really have processed foods in the house, I just started making even my own yogurt.

Tom's toothpaste and deodorant have it...

OP have you googled it?????????

Or you could google the homework assignment to see where she came up with this.

BTW algae is organic. It's the ultimate organic.

Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix and Similac Advance both contain carrageenan

Carrageenan is also a natural ingredient. It comes from seaweed. In grammar school we made pudding by cooking irish moss seaweed in milk-I refused to eat it.
