Did he really say that? Why isn't "President Trump brags about rigging second election to win" a headline everywhere? |

We've got the smallest trucks,
They're incredibly small, the smallest. And we've been very tough with the waters. If you look at the waters, it's incredible. We're taking a look at a numbah of things. |
Perhaps then you can enlighten everyone as to what Trump meant when he was talking about the “smallest trucks” and “being tough on the waters.” The latter is not even English. |
He did, re: Greenland, it's better if you own it than lease it What I meant was that this is why he wants to "nationalize" the elections. Obviously he owns the USA now, so of course he should own the elections. |
| All he does is post miserable, nasty stuff on social media all day. He doesn’t govern. He is POTUS and A multi-billionaire…does he not have the capacity to be happy for 10 seconds? |

I heard that Trump is actually confused by his low approval numbers, and I believe that. He thinks his policies are simply what everyone wants, so he doesn’t understand why his numbers are so low. He thinks that anyone who claims to care more about people than their 401k are being performative, and in the privacy of a poll or voting booth, they will support him. So when he loses an election, he thinks it must have been rigged because who wouldn’t want to vote for him?
He thinks everyone would rig an election if they had a chance. That everyone would molest children if they wouldn’t get caught. That everyone wants to rid this country of diversity. That everyone would cheat innocent people out of money if they could pull it off. The way every accusation he makes is a confession is a game he plays. He is actually bragging and taunting. He thinks everyone knows this but can’t prove it. He is saying “Catch me if you can.” He thinks everyone wishes they could pull off what he manages to do. He has never had morally sound people in his life, and he has always been incredibly sheltered from the real world. He thinks it is human nature to only care about yourself. Imagine going through life not knowing there is goodness in the world. |
This was really apparent at the National Prayer Breakfast when he said: "Not too many presidents have done too much for religion. I want to tell you that, certainly modern day. Certainly modern day presidents, they didn't. They bailed out on you. They bailed out. They want to be neutral. They want to be neutral or against. You know, the Democrats are against. I don't know how a person of faith can vote for a Democrat. I really don't. And I know we have some here today and I don't know why they're here because they certainly don't give us their vote." If there was ever an event where the president should be bringing Americans together, this is it. But no, he's living on his own planet where Republicans are pro-religion and Democrats are anti-religion. "I don't know why they're here because they certainly don't give us their vote." In other words, you must vote Republican to be welcome at Trump's prayer gathering. Nobody with a functioning brain says stuff like this. |
Search for the word "should". https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/trump-administration/trump-interview-nbc-news-extend-transcript-tom-llamas-super-bowl-2026-rcna257410 Trump is stuck on that people 'should' like his results. He is mentally unable to accept that they don't. |
Trump is doing the same thing at the NGA meeting and it’s GOP only. Though this seems more connected to his malignant narcissism than his dementia. But Trump’s obsessive focus on who voted for him (and windmills) is definitely related to the dementia. Trump is deeply insecure. |
| How are people not starting to see how delulu he is at this point? No impulse control, spouting off blatant lies, narcissistic monuments, embarrassing us on the world stage, etc etc. it’s becoming cartoonish. I understand the cult hold but what about the somewhat intelligent people still supporting this wacko? At this point his supporters are looking delulu |
Everyone sees it. That’s part of why his approvals are in the basement. The people in denial are a minority, and I’m confident many of them would admit in private that they see how far gone he is too. |
People are seeing it. But what is the Cabinet going to do? If they 25th amendment him, they lose their jobs and likely face significant legal and financial repercussions. They are like Mr Mikawber hoping that “something will turn up” to keep the grift going. Face it, no one in this administration would have stumbled into these jobs on expertise and leadership skills. |
I think Trump’s hold on his base will weaken significantly after the midterms if Dems win. At that point he will be a lame duck and will no longer be of use to his party. The only card he will have left to play will be Clarence Thomas’ retirement, if they can force him out. |
I don’t think this is his dementia, I think it the way he has always thought. It is why he has never understood people like Comey or some of the Generals or many of the lifelong Federal (and State) workers who are not driven exclusively by money. Yes, people want to make sure they can have their needs and some wants met, but they have another driver - be it service, or justice, or whatever. He just can not understand them, and as a result they are suspect and not to be trusted by him. |
