The scores among the top teams are becoming increasingly close, it should be a very competitive season.
M&D, MDU, and NXT all look extremely impressive, and Skywalkers have shown noticeable improvement.
Coppermine remains inconclusive, as their schedule has been tough.
BLC looks about the same, competitive with everyone.
Heros will figure it out but had a very rough first event.
Eagle Stix are a step behind, but not far off.
YJ DMV seem to have taken a step back, struggling to score against the top teams.
Bluestar and Crush aren’t quite ready for primetime yet.

I don't see how EagleStix could be overrated unless the computer that processed the algorithm made a mistake. It's all a math exercise.

Look at their results from last year and you can figure out why. They started off great, beating m&d and mdu, but then they played a horrible bunch of nobodies and then were getting smoked by good teams later on in the season. Talented squad, will still be highly ranked, but they will not be #4 by the end of the fall.

Look at their results from last year and you can figure out why. If I understand correctly, we're waiting for the same computer that supposedly overrated EagleStix last year to give us an accurate rating this year?

There will be a new rating this year, and it will just be as accurate as the math permits. ES was ranked 4th last year because of a mostly crap schedule that allowed them to pile on wins and goal differential. As the year progressed they started losing against good teams, sometimes badly. So you could say that they were overrated last year for sure.

Come this year, SW beating ES is being used to show that SW is somehow elite all of a sudden. Why? Based on last year’s #4 ranking…

Eaglestix came out hot last fall season. They fizzled out in the summer time. Lost to all the Maryland teams including BLC. They layed an egg over the weekend with their only win against YJ DMV. Pretty sure they don't feel good about their performance. As of now, agree that they are overrated of their #4 ranking.

No, you cannot say they were overrated last year. Their rating was perfectly accurate, just like every other team's rating.
