What's the rudest thing your neighbors have done?

Or do on a regular basis? The thread about the kids playing soccer made me curious.

Our neighbor's dog burrows into our yard and poops on a regular basis. Granted, the neighbor might be unaware of this (at least rhe pooping part) and we haven't managed to talk to him about it yet, but he allows his dog to poop within inches of the gate to our backyard when playing fetch with the dog in the alley. Then he doesn't clean it up.

They set my garage on fire.

And now all my friends are going to know it's me on here.

They vacuum the house every Monday at 9:45pm. They do it at 9:45 because I went up there and asked them to do it earlier. It used to be at 11pm and I had to remind them that in our property you're not supposed to make noise after 10pm. I hate Mondays just because of that.

They also often have kids over at weird hours and they run wild all over the apartment making sleep impossible for us. The girls wear heels and the floor is not completely covered so it's very very annoying.

They just had a baby and the infant's cry doesn't bother us at all.

Our former neighbor had a son who kept hitting my daughter with a basketball. One day DH got angry and grabbed the basketball from him and yelled, "Do NOT hit my daughter."

The neighbor called the cops on us because my husband "shouldn't have grabbed the ball from a kid."

Last year we were at work during one of the big snowstorms. I got home and was changing and getting ready to go shovel the Sidewalk( we live in an urban neighborhood). I suddenly hear shovelling out front of my house and opened the door to Find my neighbor who lives A BLOCK AWAY shovelling our walk. I go out to thank him and explain we had been at work all day and to take over. He proceeds to go off on me for not shovelling and then throws all the snow he had shovelled on m front steps. Asshole. I still havent spoken a word to him in a year and see hom frequently.

Poison your pet? I hope you sued, involved the aspca or at the very least planned something really, really sneaky. If you don't I will be glad to do it for you, I have tons of ideas seriously.

Ours think they own the neighborhood. Far from it. They have absolutely no idea who they are dealing with, that is the best part. Wow, some neighbors sound incredibly stupid. I thought people here were supposed to be smart!?

Their children were never supervised. Took a BBQ lighter into my garage and set a bag of fertilizer on fire. Fortunately, we caught it before it got too close to my car or burned the garage down. Fire dept came and the kid lied about it. Took numerous visits by fire Marshall before he came clean. Marshall made him go to fire safety classes. Kid was about 7 at the time, outside with his younger brother in our shared driveway. Parents never apologized or offered to pay for damage. Sadly, that's just one story about that nightmare family.

We don't live there anymore. Can you guess why?

The snow neighbor sounds literally insane. You would be shocked how many are supposed to be on meds but are not.

19:20 can you tell us about where so we don't buy there!?

Ok let's see...

One elderly neighbor lets her dog roam free right near the sign that says "all dogs must be on leashes." Her dog sometimes poops in our garden or tries to pounce on my kid. It unfuriates me, but she is the type of person who threatens lawsuits and bullies people so I reeaaallly don't want to get involved with her. At least the dog seems to be kind-he just pounces to be playful, but he doesn't realize how big he is. Still pisses me off though.

Another neighbor is literally jeckyl and hyde. She is also elderly so I don't know if this could be dementia related or perhaps she struggles with mental illness. One day she's the sweet grandmotherly type-nicest person you could know. The next she is pounding on my door screaming at me because we don't take our recycling bin in soon enough the one morning I am home. She did the bat crazy stuff enough that I had to speak with her husband about it and ever since it has stopped.

Otherwise I have no issues. Most of our neighbors seem to just want to live and let live, except for when it comesto the look of the neighborhood. Our HOA can be quite obsessive, but of course the 2 ladies mentioned are in leadership positions.

They trimmed the branches of a tree that they admit was on the property line without a word to to us beforehand--completely changed our view to an uglier one. Put a driveway in right next to our bedroom so we have to hear the car come and go along with the blaring radio. NEVER walk their dogs but instead leave them in a tiny area right next to our fence so that we smell poop and have to listen to barking anytime we are in the backyard. Why they don't allow the dogs access to the full backyard is beyond me. Ugh, they suck and I hope they are reading. They should never have bought a single family home because they clearly can't handle the responsibilities. The house looks just as bad as when it was in foreclosure.

My "helpful" and "nice" old neighbor french kiss me! I am still mad thinking about it. Should I tell his wife?

There was a 2 hour delayed opening for both DH and my offices. DH still had to be on a conference call at 8:30 am and I hopped in the shower at about that time. Our plan was to go out and shovel together after the call.

We live in a townhouse and apparently our elderly neighbor from across the parking lot decided to go out and shovel all the stoops and sidewalks in our area. His wife came and banged on our door until DH had to excuse himself from the conference call. She told us that her husband started shoveling at 5 am that morning and that DH should have been out there helping him. Then she said her husband may charge us for his work!

We haven't spoken to her since. Her husband does say hello though.
