And denying one means that he is a gold digger. In her situation, I would not marry someone without a prenup. |
It’s now been much more than a month. |
Gerry is a total phony hick and if this breaks up, he will want her cash. |
| Needy and prenup are not on this woman’s mind. |
|
Hilarious to the person who commented it’s now been more than a month.
Been about a month that they were able to be together and divulge the winner. Yes about a month. During show the hardly spent time, their words. Does not matter, honeymoon period lasts six months where you see nothing through rose colored glasses. I think he is a big nothing con artist, who is getting off on all the publicity, interviews, bullshit essentially but don’t mistake that for giving a shit. The guy sold fast food, his whole life. Hi hum This is the most exciting thing that ever happened. I can see that and Teresa is stuck in high school so by the time it’s all over well, they might not remember who each other really are sadly and I can say that cause I’m the same age. |
| I wonder if he gets to keep the new clothes etc. it’s like Cinderella, the clock is running out |
|
Theresa is just as needy as Leslie seemed, but I think Leslie people had all wrong. She is a much stronger woman than Theresa ever was out of necessity and ambition. Prob has more then you gave her credit for.
Team Leslie but I like Theresa |
|
You don't know these people!
You are being fed a story line by the producers and by other gossip outlets who want to get clicks at any cost. Your emotional entanglement in believing that the 30 min. you saw of Theresa over 3 months is actually who Theresa is. The producers were using small clips of film here and there to create an arc of suspension and to manipulate the audience into believing X about one contestant and Y about another. The people like Leslie and Theresa and Gerry are just pawns in the TV land machine. What you saw was what the producers wanted you to see for their purposes. |
|
Probably true
He does rub me the wrong way though |
|
Their bios are available and Leslie is a go getter type seems, self employed.
Thats not easy as a single woman and mother. It’s so sad what people say about them knowing nothing. I would never do a show like that |
|
Takes all the fun out of watching if the producers manipulate the whole thing
thought it was a reality show meaning it’s supposed to be real. It’s all nonsense. It’s too bad it would be fun if it was real, but it’s bullshit. |
They If you got enjoyment out of watching, then why not just accept the value in entertainment? It was entertaining enough and gave you a sense of suspense and something to talk about. It might have even given you hope for older age, and a few laughs in the process. The fact that you aren't seeing everything, and the producers create an arc of a story after they have done all the filming and know what the outcome is -- is really beside the point. TV is entertainment. Reality TV is entertainment. Look up a show called "Unreal" -- it was a parody of the Bachelor franchise put together by someone who used to work for The Bachelor production. The producers can't MAKE a contestant like Kathy say stuff like "she's dumber than a rock!" --- but the producers sure can say things that aren't shown (like, hey Kathy, do you think Theresa is smart or dumb?...)... then they film the contestant answering and they show that clip to create the impression of drama/conflict. I'm certain that there were producers encouraging the lead to "trust the process" and "go all in" etc. etc. to induce him to lean into feelings for X or Y. The producers control how much you see Gerry look at Theresa with googly eyes vs. how much you see him look at Leslie or Faith. What you see on the final cut should not be trusted as the actual amount of time that anyone did anything with anyone else. The producers job is to increase viewers. And viewers increase when there is drama, messiness, conflict, and uncertainty about the ending. Take the show for what it is... a curated compilation of a bunch of people trying to date the same person. You are only seeing 1% of what actually happened. |
I don't know -- the Theresa supporters seemed convinced they had a pretty good sense of her before. Now that it might be souring, it's turning to "you don't know them!" Kind of convenient in the retelling. |

Haha
good point |
Did you actually believe reality shows are “real,” vs entertainment TV (to sell ads?) You better be careful about getting scammed . You must be very gullible! |
