NP and I agree. I think it's very likely they both already had it and just didn't say anything. They're pretty young and appear otherwise healthy, so it's possible they were able to recover at home without drawing attention to the fact that they were sick. They're useless and no one would really notice a 14 day absence from their "jobs".

who knows if they had it over the summer, but they better not be sending their kids to school etc. if the parents have it or have suspicions of having it.

Fact is, he was infected before that weekend. HE is the patient zero in this outbreak.

I think it is #1. I think he just adamantly refused and they figured since everyone else around him was being tested, it wasn't an issue. I think this makes him patient zero in this outbreak- since he was able to infect so many before the first one turned up positive. I think they did not test until Hope's test came back positive AND he was exhibiting symptoms. This would also be in line with how far along he was in the infection when he received treatments. He did not get the treatments early, they were in the normal time frame.

He arrived too late to be tested by the Cleveland Clinic but he was supposed to have been tested, and to have tested negative - they had an honor system. It's adorable that after watching this vile man lie for so long about so many things, that anyone would do anything on the honor system with him.
