Is it true, as his doctor indicated, that this is HIPAA protected information? If so, we may never know. The fact they are not saying when his last negative test was tells me everything. He wasn't tested before the debate.

NP and I agree. I think it's very likely they both already had it and just didn't say anything. They're pretty young and appear otherwise healthy, so it's possible they were able to recover at home without drawing attention to the fact that they were sick. They're useless and no one would really notice a 14 day absence from their "jobs".

Well the White House hasn't stated when Trump's last negative test was. We can all infer that they therefore ignored the rules and he didn't get tested. But this hasn't been "confirmed" and probably never will be.
