Trump: We’re going to take some of the tariff money and give it to our farmers who are going to be hurt for a little while until the tariffs kick in
So...trump's tariffs decimate farmers and he is going to use the proceeds to bail them out, while our GDP shrinks and we lose foreign markets to Argentina, who we are also bailing out. Make America Great, or something, right? |
| Starbucks firing over 900 people and closing many stores in the USA. |
Given the price of coffee and the dwindling incomes, people can’t afford pricey coffee. |
responding to myself....the income from tariffs belong to the US Treasury, not a Trump slush fund. So if those monies are to be distributed to farmers, then presumably it would take an act of congress. It would have made more sense not to have tariffs and let the farmers sell to markets abroad, but what do I know? |

* TRUMP ADMINISTRATION RESTRICTING COMMERCIAL DRIVER LICENSES FOR NON-U.S. CITIZENS, USDOT SAYS
This will double, or more, transportation costs and the supply of new drivers dries up and trucking companies are forced to raise wages and pass those costs on to consumers. |
Oh here it is. “New economic data released Friday showed that consumer spending rose 0.6% in the key back-to-school shopping month of August, and 0.4% when adjusting for inflation. That’s further indication that a critical driver of the US economy continues to chug along despite broader uncertainty and a slowdown in the labor market. Still, some prices — including those exposed to steep tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump — are rising faster than they have in months, according to Commerce Department data released Friday. The Personal Consumption Expenditures price index — the inflation gauge the Federal Reserve uses for its 2% target rate — rose 0.3% on a monthly basis (versus a 0.2% increase in July), which lifted the annual rate to 2.7% from 2.6%, and hitting a six-month high. Energy and gas prices rose in August, and that was a big driver of the monthly increase; however, food prices shot higher as well. Those were up 0.5%, the highest monthly gain since March, and are now up 2.2% from last year.” https://www.cnn.com/2025/09/26/economy/us-pce-consumer-spending-inflation-august |
Trump already told yall that you only needed one doll this Xmas season. |
Will this invalidate those that have already been issued? |
Aren't CDLs issued by states like other driver's licenses? |

Sen. Roger Marshall: "It seems very disingenuous for the Democrats to be blaming President Trump for these rural hospital struggles. The reason rural hospitals are struggling is because of the bad economy."
https://bsky.app/profile/atrupar.com/post/3lzzeowh22i2d The what economy? say it again so the people in the back can hear you! Donald froze federal money even before the BBB law was passed. Also, thanks for admitting that the economy is bad. Can't have it both ways, Roger. |
