I don’t understand this defense. Wouldn’t we want a presidential candidate to be well versed in something like this? If it’s such an issue, educate yourself about it. Don’t turn a blind eye and remain oblivious to what is in Project 2025.

I definitely don’t believe him. I just don’t know how this is a good defense to take. It’s probably because I’m not of a MAGA mind.

Increasingly it might not be that he’s lying, but that he legitimately no longer knows or remembers. The bluster is gone; he’s just a confused old man at least some of the time.

Which doesn’t exonerate him for his hand in these plans, which would surely come to pass if the GOP wins. They are unAmerican and seek to end liberal democracy.

While inexcusable, Trump’s advancing dementia probably makes him somewhat unaware of what he’s saying.
