And after spending some time with my Trumpy in-laws this summer I can confirm that they are just dumb AF and will believe whatever their non-reliable “news” sources tell them. They were convinced The Rock was dead even though it wasn’t confirmed on any other news source. I don’t get it.

Increasingly it might not be that he’s lying, but that he legitimately no longer knows or remembers. The bluster is gone; he’s just a confused old man at least some of the time.

Which doesn’t exonerate him for his hand in these plans, which would surely come to pass if the GOP wins. They are unAmerican and seek to end liberal democracy.

I definitely don’t believe him. I just don’t know how this is a good defense to take. It’s probably because I’m not of a MAGA mind.
