I can't imagine myself, even as a 19-year-old, booking the prostitutes to have sex with me, letting them pee on me, and taking drugs knowing that I was going to be having sex for days on end- and then doing it over and over for years. I am honestly confused why people are feeling so sorry for her. I would've walked away. But the money and what she was getting in return were obviously enough to convince her to stay in the relationship. I'm sorry, I don't see women as children and so I see her as perfectly capable of saying no.

It's fair to believe in personal responsibility, but it's also important to recognize how abuse and manipulation work, especially when power, control, and emotional dependence are involved. Cassie may have been an adult legally, but being young and in a relationship with someone older, richer, and more powerful can make it incredibly difficult to just 'walk away.' Abuse isn't always obvious from the start, and people often stay in harmful situations because they're scared, isolated, or groomed over time. Acknowledging that doesn't mean we see women as children; it means we understand the complexities of trauma and coercion.

I hear you and I agree with some aspects of what you're saying. But it's also important to call out some unpleasant truths about situations like these, which is the enormous benefit that she was getting (money, external respect and status, power) or she would've left. She would not have entered into this relationship with the local garbage collector. She sought out the relationship to derive benefits from it. I think as women we have to recognize that we have some sick needs for the power and status that we get from men. There are so many examples like this (like Bill belchick and his 24-year-old). Let's stop making excuses for women who make these choices.

I get where you're coming from, and you're right that status and money can play a big role in why people enter certain relationships. But that doesn’t mean abuse didn’t happen or that she deserved it. People can want benefits and still be taken advantage of or hurt.

It's not about making excuses—it’s about understanding that these situations are complicated. And saying women have “sick needs” for power is unfair. A lot of this is shaped by a society that rewards women for being close to powerful men.

Agree with you.
The above poster may be eating their words if/when they see evidence that she did not participate for money etc. In a position like here, it was 99.9% likely a situation where she feared for her life and safety.

Actually, sorry I take that back. I saw a news report that I thought said that, but what they actually said is that he likely will not testify. I feel like the only way he would testify is if there’s some how for him to give an alternate version of these facts. Like if the evidence against him is so damning that it’s a Hail Mary.

Prosecution is done questioning Cassie.

In the last hour or so she talked about how while she was dating her now husband, Diddy raped her. At one point, she tried to walk into traffic to kill herself because the pain was so deep but her now husband stopped her. She’s been to trauma therapy since then. She reminded everyone she was 22 years old when that’s all started.

Diddy's going to jail for a long time, isn't he?

Tomorrow will be a tough day for Cassie. I hope she's well prepared.

yes. I don't think he'll see freedom again in this life. There's no way he would not be out on bail if there was a chance of future freedom. I wish I didn't learn the details of his crimes. They are so evil, gross and depraved.

I don’t know. Do you think it’s racketeering? I don’t know.

Brian Steel, Young Thug’s longtime attorney, is apparently the one who will be questioning her tomorrow. They’re going to try to discredit her by discussing other relationships she had even when with Diddy. The difference is, she wasn’t extorting people, raping people, threatening people with violence and guns, and those people weren’t doing that to her either. It’s disgusting what they’re going to do to her tomorrow.

Is Diddy being represented by one of Luigi Mangione’s attorneys?
