2024 Boys Private School Results /Game Schedules/ Commentary

Why would the top IAC teams be afraid of a game against SJC this year? Really weird that SJC won’t play them. Seems like it’s a problem with Speaks and his scheduling. He’s too busy getting blown out by teams on a way different level this year. He definitely got over his skis sitting at his desk during the off season. Dude had 1 great year and all the sudden he runs the dmv? That’s hilarious.

Agree.

IAC teams would have beat SJC last year also. They were not good, even their students talked about it.

Pretty sure it’s been established that the IAC refused to play St. John’s. Mad that they recruit players or something.

All quiet on Military road these days.

Losing to Gilman, a program who hasn’t made the MIAA playoffs in years and where the lax program has also been de-emphasized , tells you everything you need to know.

SJC is not good this year.

Keep talking about the 2022 team to make yourself feel better.

GZ should have won last night. The Saint Mary's goalie played out of his mind.

Not sure what year he is, but the Eagles hit several pipes and the Saints goalie made some spectacular saves.

Saint's keeper was the difference maker in this contest, otherwise it was a very even game.

What was the final score?

Seems you are the one that keeps bringing up the 22 team. I get it. They were the greatest team to ever step on a HS field. So they should be talked about for many years to come.

This years squad is young and play that way. A lot of Sophomores getting experience against good teams. They still have the goal that every team wants to reach on the table. I would still expect them to make another run to the championship.

Nice to see that someone from the IAC is still holding on to hypothetical games. 🥴

SJC refused to play in the 2022 post-season tournament sponsored by Corrrigan Sports. IAC champion vs WCAC champion. That is a fact.

SJC did play 1 IAC team in 2023. (Bullis) and I heard that Bullis tried to schedule SJC this season but SJC could not find a date.

SJC refused to play in that 2022 tournament because the championship was during their prom and the kids were satisfied with their WCAC championship, especially cuz they killed everyone else in the area. Lacrosse is not these kids whole lives.

Gonzaga looks bad, kids look disinterested in even playing.

They looked interested to me. You act like they were playing against traffic cones. There was another good team of equally interested kids on the field last night and they happened to play a better game at home on that particular day. Gonzaga will be fine. There is a lot of talent there.

GC the team to beat this spring. GZ/SJC are dumpster fires.

Good Counsel might make things interesting in the mighty WCAC this Spring.

GC has their best team in years, maybe ever, but doubt they can compete with GZ and SJC.
