If Catherine were not alive for any reason there is no way that delaying that announcement for months would be helpful.

I think she’s still alive but they’re waiting to see if she might be able to recover from whatever is going on. Like maybe the her face is partially paralyzed or something.

How is she being stalked? The palace told the photographer where to be and when so they could get a picture. And Kate knew to turn away and hide her face.
