Milk and Cheese

Anonymous
I have a 6 year old DS that is/was milk allergic. We are scheduled for a food challenge to test to see if he is still allergic.

For the challenge, I have to bake one dish with milk and one with cheese. I'm worried about getting him to eat enough of the milk/cheese for the challenge.

What type of milk/cheese would you think is the best tasting for a 6 year old? Whole, 2%, 1%, Skim???? He does eat alternative cheeses (cheddar style and mozzarella style) but this is obviously a whole different ballgame.

Thanks!

Whole milk is the best tasting the other milks taste watery. IMO.

Does it have to be plain cheese with nothing else, or can he have a slice of pizza?

does it reallly have to be baked? (If so, maybe a lasagna for the cheese, and a rice pudding for the milk?)

But it seems like a weird kind of test to me. Some people also react differently to aged cheese vs non.
