Several people in the other thread on crying said commercials make them cry. Which ones?
I used to cry at the one where the somewhat shy and hesitant young woman is taken through a car dealership, and then into a room wher all the staff is gathered as the employee introduces her and says, "This is her first ... new ... car." And they all applaud. |

I don't really cry at any commercials these days, but I love that one where the dad is keeping an online/email log/diary for his daughter - and including pics and videos, from when she was born all through her childhood.
Also, used to LOVE that jewelry commercial that was on a few holidays ago, where the man put his wife's present by her bed while she slept - the Cat Stevens song just KILLED me. "How can I tell you, I love you, I love you? How can I tell you, that I'm always thinking of you. When I can't find, the right words, to say." In sharp contrast, the "Every Kiss Begins with Kay" commercials make me want to punch someone and do harm to myself. |
| The one with the dad talking to the toddler who's about to drive off used to get me. |
|
This one NEVER FAILS to get me. Never. Tearing up just thinking about it! |
Thanks, I needed a good cry.
For some reason, all those military appreciation ads get to me. I have no connection to the military, but when the old guy salutes the young Army woman who is boarding the plane early, I'm a mess. |
| Commercials don't make make cry, but I'm sure any commercial would make Boehner cry. |
| I cry at almost everything with children growing up/leaving and military appreciation ads. |
|
1) The car commercial where the father is giving his daughter the rules for driving (she looks like she's 4 or 5) while she's in the driver's seat. As he steps back she looks like she's a teenager.

I'm this PP. I also cry at animal cruelty ads - like the one with the Sarah Mclaughlin(sp?) song in the background. |
Oh my god, this one makes me want to sob! |
|
I actively dislike this one; I always wonder why they couldn't just use paper. |
| Not a crier, but the commercial that moves me the most is that Lowes one where that couple's dancing around as their lives change from singles, to marrieds, to parents, to grandparents. |
|
Yup me too. Even after seeing it a million times. |
