I’ve never seen the Queen booed ever. Let alone by a crowd.

There have been like a half dozen assassination attempts on her, I am sure booing by an activist group is nothing new. It’s the price of power.

Are you including the nut who showed up in her bedroom at midnight in your ‘assassination’ attempts?

Either way those activists have a huge amount of support in nationalist Scotland.

That’s been the case for five decades. Then they grow into middle age and schlep their two kids and dog to visit Balmoral and learn some history. Some have the misfortune, like Sturgeon, of having to bow to the Queen repeatedly.

Two decades you say? No wonder the boos are getting more bold.

There will be a beautiful show next year with heads of states from around the world vying to bow to her. Enjoy the broadcast and keep calm!

Your show is under threat.

10-15 million pounds does not seem that "eye popping" to me, for a celebration like this.

Didn’t they spend more on the Sussexes wedding?

Doesn't look like the tax payer is on the hook, same as the last jubilee. The chronic complainers here will have to find something else to gnash their teeth about.

"The budget for the pageant is £10m to £15m but no public funds are being used. The money is being raised privately through corporate and individual partners and sponsors."

He looks like Diana, his mom would be proud to see him come into his own.

I mean…I guess that depends on your perspective? That’s about $30 million USD. Keep in mind it’s just one celebration with her annual birthday celebration also in the millions. And she had a jubilee with similar expenditures exactly 10 years ago when there were no gas or food shortages in the UK.

Trump tried to have a military parade for $90 million and that was roundly criticized until it was canceled.

The Sussex wedding cost $45 million. Did you feel the same way then?

Yikes. That's pretty strongly worded from a reporter.

Yep. Pretty sure she thought she’d logged in under a burner account.

He looked like Diana when he was a teenager. Now he looks more and more like Charles.

It wasn't the cost of Trump's military parade that was the problem. The U.S is the world's military superpower, and our moral authority is derived from democratically elected leadership. We don't need to parade our weaponry down Pennsylvania Avenue to show strength. Leave that for China, North Korea, and two-bit dictatorships.

If private funds are paying for it, what is the concern?

Queen Elizabeth in another bold saturated color. I am liking her wardrobe revamp.

The cane also suits her, as the expression goes “Speak softly and carry a big stick”

Anne is also rocking the bold color coat.

The cane says 'I'm 95 and dying and have been using a walker at home secretly for the past 10 years'.
