I know, innocent people are being hurt but except for the white woman (with clothes with no holes and a nice looking house) they should know! A farmer who doesn’t know who he’s selling to? Sounds like a bad business person. He deserves this. Or the Venezuelan who thought she would be an exception but was fine with Africans and other Latinos to be deported? Idiot.

I’m not on ticktock where most people are posting. Please share. Yeh, I’m petty.

I don't have a link anymore but I saw one where a white MAGA mom had a miscarriage and was shocked she could not get an abortion until she was half dead.

I don't think this is who you referenced, but this MAGA Florida republican blamed liberals for her delay in receiving an abortion due to an ectopic pregnancy. She is still MAGA and still trolling democrats. She was the one constantly standing and applauding Trump at the SOU while sitting in the empty Democrats seats. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jun/22/kat-cammack-republican-florida-abortion-law-ectopic-pregnancy

OMG that is the most obnoxious thing ever. Take some ownership of the consequences of your actions.

This is terrible, but self-inflicted.

Meh. I will save my sympathy for someone who actually deserves it. This US citizen knew his partner was under a deportation order and never bothered to marry her for 20 years. FAFO indeed.

Wayne DeMario voted for Donald Trump. His fiancée of 20 years, Yamile Alcantu, prayed for him to win. Together, they ran a guitar shop in Miami, built a life, and believed the president's immigration crackdown would target criminals—not people like them. Eight months later, DeMario is alone behind the counter of Wayne's Guitar World, sobbing through interviews and begging the man he helped elect to bring her back home.

Alcantu, who moved to the US from Cuba 25 years ago through the State Department's Visa Lottery programme, was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement in June after a routine annual check-in—the kind she had attended without incident for years. What ultimately triggered her detention was not anything recent. It was a deportation order dating back to 2008, stemming from a traffic stop in which, according to DeMario, officers searched her bag and found three Xanax pills. 'They go through her purse, and then they dump the purse out, and three Xanax pills fall out,' DeMario said.

Why would she face deportation for having Xanax? It's a legal prescription drug.

It’s only legal if you have a prescription.

Farmers are rich welfare queens growing corps they can not sell. We need to do what New Zealand did.

Farmers hire a lot of migrant workers. Who will work those fields now?

There have been dozens of news articles about farmers with crops rotting in fields due to the ICE raids, migrant workers fear of entering the USA. Elections have consequences. Although I guess not so many consequences to farmers, since Trump will keep throwing subsidies their way. It's not his money after all.

They don’t need to worry, daddy will bail them out as always.

But he hasn’t yet, has he? He promised, but as far as I know the farmers have not gotten anything yet. Did I miss something?

Yes, you did.
They got $60 bn in subsidies in the Trump tax bill.

and then they got $12bn for "unfair tariff disruptions."

FAFO: Jay Allen is a fan of President Donald Trump, and voted for him on the belief that the Republican would cut taxes and trim regulations, helping his manufacturing business in northeast Arkansas.

...

But the tariffs at the core of Trump's economic agenda have wreaked havoc on his company, Allen Engineering Corp., which makes industrial equipment used to install, finish and pave concrete. The import taxes have raised the costs of engines, steel, gearboxes and clutches made abroad that Allen needs to build power trowels that can sell for up to $100,000 each.

...

Allen said he ran his company at a loss in 2025 because of tariffs. His payroll has fallen to 140 workers from a peak of 205. To get by this year, he has hiked prices by 8% to 10%, even though that might mean fewer sales.

"What's really sad is the unintended consequences of his tariffs are hurting manufacturing in our country," said Allen. "Unfortunately, the working-class people are getting squeezed."

You would think someone with a manufacturing company would listen to actual...IDK economists.

+1

You would think that a business owner would understand that tariffs would increase prices. This was not "unintended consequences ". Anyone with half a brain knew this was going to happen.

Why do people continue to believe Trump is a great business man? He's only ever worked for himself (a company that his daddy help start). He makes his money in real estate and royalties, hotels, golf resorts, not manufacturing. He managed to bankrupt a few casinos (who the heck manages to do that). He clearly had zero understanding of how tariffs would hurt American business owners.

And even if his business is also impacted by the tariffs, so what? He's making hand over fist off the American taxpayers.
