I realize it sounds crazy af to say “they” don’t want the public to know but it seems as if there is a concerted effort to conceal from voters the extent of the damage of Trump’s dementia. |

I don’t want to reduce his Nazi talk to dementia as I think that kind of speech is his true feelings and certainly something he’s talked like for years, but it’s interesting how he continues to lean on nonsense phrases like “in numbers nobody’s ever seen before.”
This man is dumb, getting more demented and presents a horrible danger. |

| He’ll just keep making crazier and crazier speeches that the media will completely fail to cover in any real way so that a larger number of people feel it’s okay to vote for him. |
Yup. The media is complicit. This is a critical time in our country's history. They should devote their daily top of news to the election and his latest demented xenophobia. |

Yes, this is what Donald Trump really sounds like. No, you cannot ignore it. https://wapo.st/482NcAs |
| How would a more conventional, less provocative conservative candidate than Donald Trump (DeSantis, Youngkin, Rubio, for example) be polling against Harris right now? |
They wouldn't have MAGA (Trump voters who otherwise wouldn't vote at all) support, so would take away 30% of Trump's support and it would be a Dem landslide. |
Potentially. You say that like Republicans haven’t been good soldiers since at least 2000. |
Potentially, but Trump's destruction of the current Republican party creates an issue for 2028. Trump will be permanently done in the next 2-4 years, and I don't see MAGA enthusiastically getting out the vote for the likes of Vance, Haley, DeSantis, etc. |
