| I'm not a frequent practitioner. I just started and I find the stretches to be very relaxing. But is the stretching, deep bends, twists etc safe when TTC? I just started and it's a beginner class. |
| Safe. |
| Yup, except if you're doing ivf and near retrieval. |
| Yes, yoga during sex is safe, with downward dog being the most effective way to conceive. Good luck! |
| Safe while trying TTC and while pregnant. I had a very, very easy delivery with my 2nd baby which I credit to a large degree to prenatal yoga. I did have trouble with pubic synthesis pain that was brought on and worsened by the hip openers she had us do in class all the time. Just something to be aware of. On the other hand, I had none of the sciatica pain that plagued me during my first pregnancy when I did prenatal pilates but not yoga. |
| From what I am reading, some of the twists need to be handled carefully. Let your teacher know and they can give you more pose-specific advice. |
I think this is once you have conceived, not while TTC. |
| totally safe and encouraged to reduce the stress of ttc. i spent 3 years in my eagle pose once i learned its great for the reproductive organs. enjoy. |
LOL, I do eagle pose all the time too. |
| Completely safe! There is an excellent DVD, Yoga for Fertility. Check it out on Amazon. It helped me tremedously to reduce stress and feel great! |
This. And really only after the second trimester. |
| Sorry - I meant after the FIRST trimester. |
