I found this on another post.....Wanda "Nanny" Secrist has immediate openings in her home daycare located on Mississippi between Piney Branch and Sligo. She is fully licensed, offers breakfast, lunch and snacks. Her house has a fabulous playground in the back yard with swings and slides, the inside is bright, cheerful and clean. The days are well structured with circle and story time, arts and crafts and lots of outdoor play when the weather allows.
Our daughter has been with her for two years now and we could not ask for a more loving situation. Please call Nanny directly at 301 588 1739. |

| Regarding Wanda, I dont think she has openings anymore. My current provider is closing their doors /retiring and Wanda was highly recommended to me. When I called her a few weeks ago she only had a part time (3 days a week available) slot, but that was taken by one of the other kids in my current day care. Last week I spoke with her and I think she said she expect to have more opening early next year, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask. She seems to be very loving. Quite chatty too. |

| OP, I just got a hold of Marisol. She has a home day care over on 7th Place, NW DC. She has openings for infants (I didn't ask for anyone older), but all of her kids are moving into a bigger center in December. Well she hopes to move in December, but she is still waiting to get the license from the city. When she moves she will be able to care for 25 kids! At the home daycare she is charging $300/week, no meal provided. I don't know what the rate wil be at the new center, but I do know that meals will be provided there. |
