I think that the top four teams in the DMV= Prep, SJC, PVI, Landon. Of these, Landon has the least graduating in 2023. I hereby anoint Landon as the pre-season #1 in 2024. Let the new thread begin.

I suspect these 4 teams mentioned above will be the top 4 teams in DMV next Spring.

Prep graduates a mega senior class (20+ seniors), several have been 2 and 3-year starters.

I think SJC is pre-season #1 in the area until someone beats them.

PVI graduates 17 and Bullis graduates 6.

What’s the age verification do for all the families that reclass their kids to get a competitive advantage? All the “top” players in this years 23 class are all older.

The season is over.....SJC won the WCAC....I guess Prep won the IAC. I would imagine both teams seniors are at beach week and do not care anymore. Only the people on here do

#4 for SJC is going to GO OFF next season. He is the consummate teammate and has been very unselfish. But look for him to take the Alpha role in 2024 and dominate. SJC will be very good again. Pre-season #1 for sure.

#4 for SJC is going to GO OFF next season. He is the consummate teammate and has been very unselfish. But look for him to take the Alpha role in 2024 and dominate. SJC will be very good again. Pre-season #1 for sure.

Played injured all season and still was very good. Next year will be spectacular

Back up goalie is very good they will have the top goalie in WCAC in 2024 season

Already got them. I’d worry if your kid isn’t playing on Military Rd.

I’d attend the prospect day if you want to be seen.

#4 on STJ is no doubt the best player around, there’s a reason why he’s the #1 player in the class of 2024. Having said that, he’s coming off a surgery last summer, was banged up this past spring and is now injured again. We shall see how the 2024 season plays out for him and STJ. I just hope Prep or Landon end up on STJs schedule somewhere next year.

As long as SJCHS is willing to schedule Prep and Landon a month or so into the season, I am sure Prep and Landon will oblige...

That’s up to the coaches to figure out. I know landon has a fantastic wrestling team with some of the top lax players on it usually advancing to nationals which leaves them off the lax field completely until the first or second game of then season.

I have idea. How about all the sports respect the start and end times and we wouldn't have this problem. Not that hard and if you are a school with multi sport athletes don't schedule games on those dates.
