I think we all have our blind spots in various issues, but they’re Dunning Kruger on everything. They know everything. They are the subject masters. They know more than the experts and opinions linked, always.

When you govern on 'common sense' and campaign on ignoring experts, how is that a surprise?

It’s not. It’s just funny that these people will argue with actual common sense. People have linked to gas and oil profits in the last year and shown them exactly why prices were higher and I don’t know if they just ignore them because they think we’re making it up or because they think that staying ignorant is “owning” us somehow, but FFS. On balance Republican voters are just some of the dumbest, least sensible people I’ve ever met.

Exxon 20B PROFIT (not revenue)

There is your "7/gal" straight to the shareholders in the form of dividends and stock prices.

Similar for everything that's overpriced. This has been explained over and over. Companies are reaping HUGE profits. People are paying up. So there is no reason for them to lower prices again. You want to blame someone, blame corporations and their greed. Much easier, I guess, to continue to lie and say it is Biden's fault. What else would I expect from the GOP.

Where was this all powerful corporate greed in 2020 and 2021 when oil companies were losing money?

What about 2016-2020 when oil companies were filing for bankruptcy?

Where was this all powerful greed when AOC was prematurely celebrating the end of fossil fuel companies?

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/aoc-deletes-tweet-celebrating-crash-in-oil-prices-you-absolutely-love-to-see-it/

The reality is that the fossil fuel companies are back with a vengeance because the supply/demand dynamic has flipped in their favor. It has flipped in their favor in part because of Democratic policies, including those of the Biden admin and the Chuck Schumer-led senate want fossil fuels to away. Now that supplies are tight—AGAIN A STATED AND DESIRED BYPRODUCT BIDEN’S OWN GOALS—they want to blame oil companies for it.

Cool story. Oil companies earned RECORD PROFITS in 2021.

'Gas prices need to get to the level of Europe'
Obama-Biden's Secretary of Energy.

It is more than $7 a gallon in many countries.

What will gas prices be after Biden is done draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve?
This will reduce a million barrels a day.

So now that your prediction is clearly not coming true, you’ve resorted to digging up 10 year quotes from people who are long out of office.

$1.78 a gallon gas has been a fundamental constitutional right since 2020.

President Biden:
" I was in Massachusetts about a month ago on the site of the largest old coal plant in America. Guess what? It cost them too much money. They can’t count. No one is building new coal plants because they can’t rely on it, even if they have all the coal guaranteed for the rest of their existence of the plant. So it’s going to become a wind generation.

And all they’re doing is — it’s going to save them a hell of a lot of money, and they’re using the same transmission line that transmitted the coal-fired electric on. We’re going to be shutting these plants down all across America and having wind and solar.”

The energy company is raising rates 64%. This will be spreading nationwide with Biden and the Democrats' global warming agenda.

It’s important to know what the goals are. Kind of like listening to the head of Pfizer stating that the goal is to cut the population of the world by half in the coming years. It tells a more complete story. It’s interesting how people here dismiss things as conspiracy theory that are easy to find on video. This is why the left wants to control social media. These videos can’t be shared if there is a screening committee that determines what can and can’t be shown to the public. People at Twitter deserve firing for their behavior.

My SIL in MA pays a monthly fee for her heating. It just went from $150/month to $350.
