Neighbor Question about Moonbounce

| This morning a moonbounce appeared in the street in front of our house. My DH saw an extension cord running to our neighbor's house to the left and asked them about it. They are having a children's Halloween party today and thought it was more "convenient" having it in front of our house than their house. The entry to the moonbounce is flush with the curb and then our front yard begins. This means that to enter the moonbounce, children will walk through our yard. I don't mind this, but it would have been nice if they had mentioned it, at least. Am I over-reacting? |

| They should have asked you. That being said, silently rejoice in the fact that you are in the right and let the party go on. This is not worth damaging a relationship over, especially since these people will live right next store to you for the foreseeable future. |

| 13:20 - THIS. I have seen not very smart neighbors before, OP. Sorry you have to deal with them. They have absolutely no foresight and very much live in the moment. It sucks. It will be over soon, thankfully. I would give them a nice heads up. If they try to take advantage with other things, document everything and lower the boom when you've had it. If you have a lawyer all the better. Good luck. Maybe they just overlooked once or twice. If they keep at it, then you do too! GL. |

| Is the street closed off? Or are there cars passing by? If the latter, I would not allow my children in, and I would be very concerned if the kids were entering from my property. |

That's what I was wondering- are they putting you in a situation if anyone gets injured? I believe there is a legal angle to this and I'd be fuming mad. |

| If OP lives in the district she doesn't own the street in front of her house. In fact, she doesn't own a chunk of her front yard. It belongs to the city. Thus, not her risk. |
