| It's a family name, and I want to use it for sentimental reasons. Any unbiased opinions out there want to give me the thumbs up or down? The original Bruce who the baby would be named after was not a fan of his own name, which is giving me pause....I feel like it's a nice, strong name though. |
| Me gusta mucho. |
| I know someone who named her baby Bruce. I never would have thought of it, but I love it! Definitely a strong name. |
| I love it -- we would've used it but there was a Brice born in our family around the same time. |
| Ehhhh, not my fave...but you do what you like and everyone will love baby Bruce. My brother often jokes that he dodged a bullet bc my parents were deciding between Randy and Ryan, they chose Ryan. Feel like Bruce could be a Randy. |

Conventional wisdom says that Bruce is a gay name (not that there's anything wrong with that... rock on!).
If that gives you pause, I wouldn't use it. But if not, go for it! It's your decision anyway. Screw 'em all. |
| Do it! Bruce is a great name. Bonus points if your last name is Banner or Lee. |
| It's a good name, but one that I hear and automatically think of as an old guy. Or an older guy. Not a small child. Possibly because i have never known a small child named Bruce. |

Bruce is a great name and your son might turn out to be a complete bad ass. There is nothing more sexy than a bad add Bruce.
The gay comment...wierd. How is a name gay? Only time it is gay is when a Christopher chooses to call himself Chrissy or something like that. |
| I like it. It's a name that everyone has heard of but not super common. |
exactly why it is such a bad idea to name your children babyish names because they will grow up. Sorry to offend, but what comes to mind for me is: Riley Carter Bailey Those names are so soft for a man. Maybe all men will be fully emasculated in the next 20 years so it might not matter, but for me a wimpy name is not a very good choice. |
| My little brother is named Bruce. He is not gay. I have never met a gay Bruce. He was a cutie little boy, too. Brucie! I do like it. |
| I'm not a fan of the name Bruce. Sorry, OP. |
| I wouldn't use it personally, but I like it. It won't be very trendy right now because it's a 50s/60s generation name (like Nancy, Linda, etc. for women). |
X2 go for it! |
