Instead of owning the chaos he’s caused, he’s pointing fingers and misleading leadership to save himself.

This isn’t just a leadership issue—it’s a cultural one. The previous Academy Director was a disaster, and somehow, things have managed to get even worse. The entire infrastructure needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. From scouting to coaching to player development, there’s no coherent identity, no elite standard, and certainly no vision that aligns with what this region deserves.

The DMV is one of the most talent-rich regions in the country. Yet it’s being drained by incompetence. The local ecosystem is already overrun with pay-to-play politics and clubs that don’t prioritize development. DC United had the platform to be the beacon of excellence. Instead, they’ve become just like the rest—deplorable.

It’s time for a clean sweep. The players, the families, and this region deserve better.

You're stalking people's kids and obsessed with young youth teams where you have no connection and calling others losers?

Who said anything about the kids? That’s exactly the problem every time someone critiques the dysfunction or calls out shady behavior, people like you deflect and hide behind the kids like a shield. The issue is with the grown-ups: the shady staff, the petty politics, and the delusional parents playing power games. That’s what’s ruining the experience for the kids not accountability. Lol

This is the thing and getting rid of the U14s keeps kids in that frustrating system even longer now. I couldn't imagine thinking you were finally free and accepting an offer, only to be told you've gotta go back. I would be so livid.

Yes agreed. And it is a fact that the u14 team is not happening next year. All the people questioning that weeks ago when it was posted here are feeling really stupid right now. AND knowing how broke DCU is and how much they are struggling to make the full time program work because of financial problems, I bet that DCU will make next year's u15 (this years u14s) parents pay out of pocket for online school because they can't afford it for all the age groups. It would fit their pattern and practice of putting money before the kids and trying to minimize their investments. Just wait for that communication to slowly trickle out from DCUs sorry communications apparatus. It will come soon enough...and if you think this is a lie, exaggeration etc.think again. Like has been said before there are people on here that are connected and understand DCU better than most.

Impressive graduation rate...to better support and back up the rigor of their program...what's the average SAT score for students in their program? Are all the kids in the DMV, (public or private school) advanced level students with 4.0 GPA?

Do all the MLSN teams in our area practice 4X a week and travel the same amount on weekends?

according to IG, the DC 2024 class had 11 kids go to good colleges, 4 of which are ivy league
