What is your ring size?

I've never worn my wedding band much, because it has always been a bit too big (size 6). So I finally decided to get it sized, and my finger measured 5 1/4. Considering I am 5'9, that seems really small. I thought it was supposed to be proportional? Now I'm looking at my fingers thinking they look all gross and long and bony and wrinkly (because my hands are NOT small). I know 6 is the "average", what is the DCUM average?

5'1 size 7 very short skinny fingers and wrists. My manicure jokes she'll charge me the teen manicure rates all the time.

Mine is a 6. I'm 5'3", average weight, average fingers but definitely not thin.

I think mine was like 4.75? My husband had to get my rings specially made because it wasn't a "normal" size. I have long, skinny fingers, but I don't think they are abnormal. I'm petite anyway.

I'm 5'9” also and wear a 4.75. I think it only has to do with your frame and weight but not height necessarily.

5'7" and size 8 ring. I'm on the heavier side, but not extremely oversight. FWIW, I wear a size 10 shoe.

Yup, I'm 5'7, slightly overweight, and wear a 4.5. I am small-framed, though.

When we went to pick out wedding bands, the jeweler remarked that I had "baby hands."

OP here. OK, so based on the responses, my ring size seems large now! I have a very narrow frame, although I think my ring size would go up if I gained weight. It didn't during pregnancy, though.

5'6" wear a 4.75 on my left hand, 5 on my right. I am right handed. All of my rings besides wedding/engagement are a 5 so I can switch hands.

OP, I'm the poster with the 3.75 ring size. I also happen to wear a size 10 shoe. It seems to me these are just immutable characteristics...why worry about them?
