So the FCV younger age groups would be a bad experience or less than other clubs?

Depends on location. I’d say the south St James location is excellent for girls.

North is a dumpster fire. Nobody should trust this group of clowns.

Doesn’t say GA1 is any different from GA2 (as if there are enough girls for GA2)

GA2 paying the same rates as GA1? that's awful

Yes, and the GA 2 teams are below a REC level of play. Most of these kids should be playing rec but their parents pay to play and say they are travel. The coaching at this level is horrible too...but don't worry, your horrible coach will soon be moved up to GA1 when they fire the current slate. I'm not looking forward to the coach we were assigned. Many of the old players left due to is incompetence. We decided to stay and try it out for a year.

It’s that bad but you “decided to stay and try it out” ? I call bullshit.

There website isn't really clear about how many teams there will be and only lists 2 coaches. They assign a coach to an age group, I think.

On a serious note can you (or anyone else) be more specific? Why do you say it's a dumpster fire and are there certain coaches to avoid? Certain coaches that are good?

How were the tryout turnouts for the older age groups last week

North is gutted since Adam took over. Whole teams left mid year, coaches have been fired, the whole program is still being gaslit about home fields, incoming staff and coaches quit before even starting, etc most of the girls have been doing their best to find spots anywhere else that actually stayed to finish out the year.

Adam sucks. He's got anger issues and boy players' parents have threatened to quit if he didn't stop coaching. He's been thrown out of games he's coached.... And now he's running the show.

The FCV GA program (north) is all but dead, if there are GA teams next year there will only be a handful of returning players and most of them should be at the oldest age group - the 11s, 10s, 9s and 8s went to other clubs, I think VRSC got most of the players but a good chunk to went to ECNL clubs and a handful to SYC GA. TSJ handled the whole situation horribly, they went radio silent on the family for a good 3~4 weeks which caused a lot of the families to scramble to look elsewhere. Then at least two of the coaches that were being brought in to replace CC, BP and ED quit before they even showed up.

I think the new coaches a doing a really good job closing out the spring season and had we of had any interaction with them prior to having to make a decision, we might of stayed but again TSJ said nothing for weeks on end and then had some half hearted town hall with the parents. It's almost like TSJ thought they were too big to fail and their name would keep families around alone and that's the exact opposite of what happened. I do put some blame on the coaches for quitting mid-season (Dec/Jan) and then causing more confusion by staying around for a couple months to get through Champions Cup in FL and most of the way through the Spring season. Poor communication, poor planning and poor management.

Especially on BP's part, guy loves to make X posts about players commitment and being committed to the team but can't even finish out his.

TSJ determined BP’s schedule. Not BP.

That's not what we were told by TSJ. Specifically AB. He said they wanted BP to finish out the season but they were only able to negotiate through April.
