This. Plus if anything he seems like he skews more uptight about being neat and clean. To me, "gross but hot guys" means someone like Matthew McConaughey in his younger days who seems like someone who slept around and didn't bathe a lot - easy to picture sleeping with a random woman one night, then waking up and going to the beach the next day without showering and hitting on more women on the beach.
