My mistake. I was confusing the Georgian with a Yemeni envoy who stabbed someone and was allowed to leave. The Georgian was drunk. Still worse to me than a pure accident. But it doesn’t matter what I think. Even the U.K. has no plans to prosecute this woman. The only question is when they will tell the Dunns this. |
What do they need to investigate? She admitted it, and they have it on security film. |

The family is now suing the woman, Trump (!), and the U.K. Foreign Office. And they say Americans are litigious! |
| They are basically using this as blackmail to get her back to the U.K. |
Just another European trying to rip off an American. It was an accident. I hope disallows themftom coming back into the USA. |
Yeah, because that's way more heinous than crushing the internal organs of a 19-year-old with your SUV driven on the wrong side of the road. |
I hope it all gets dismissed too. Their ambulance chasing attorney is giving them false hope to run up his bill (being paid by gofundme.) He seems truly awful. And he keeps saying her husband didn’t qualify for immunity when both the US and U.K. have confirmed he was covered. They should spend the money on grief counseling instead of their scumbag lawyer. |
I’m no Trump fan but wth does he have to do with this? They are pissed she had immunity and are trying to circumvent it. They claim they just want to talk to her but only on their terms. They are in the news practically everyday with some new statement by their lawyer. Every avenue they have tried has been a dead end. I highly doubt she will be extradited and I think they know it. |
They are trying to build pressure domestically to get the UK to issue an extradition warrant. The UK can still issue it, even if she had diplomatic immunity while in the UK. Her diplomatic immunity is over. This will prevent her from traveling abroad, as other countries would extradite her if they honor UK extradition requests. It's the only move they have right now. I don't blame them. |
They may get the U.K. to charge her, but she will never return to the U.K. The NSA told them this bluntly in front of Trump. At some point they are just pounding a brick wall. I guess it makes them feel better. I don’t think it would make me feel better. |
That's fine. But it effectively puts an end to her husband's overseas career (at least with the family in tow). No vacations to Europe or Commonwealth countries either. Basically, the Dunn's are trying to put up as many barriers as possible to letting her enjoy life. I get it - it's vengeful and they are scorned. I hope they get the financial compensation they deserve. |
Well better than going to jail. Maybe they can get somebody’s insurance to pay them. Otherwise probably out of luck there too. |
Well I guess they don't have any other option to find justice. |
What a horrible example she has set for her children. Cause a grievous accident resulting in the death of someone young innocent son than cut and run. She deserves the result. Face your mistakes. Own up. UK is a friendly nation. |
Well according to the posters on the cruise line baby death thread, killing someone by accident is punishment enough. You shouldn’t be charged for your carelessness. |
