The dude who said he would take 100k pay cut for a fit wife - why stop there? For 100k you could buy a gorgeous, slim, life-like Barbie robot who could be programmed to assuage your ego every sleeping moment and would not bother you with complicated emotional needs or challenging conversations. It would not need to starve herself or run 5km a day to stay fit.

Who do the women get excited about? Are they all excited about one dad or are they all primarily concerned about their their spouse? Hopefully, they do not all get all excited by the same person apart from their spouse. Hopefully, they treat people as individuals with unique imaginations, experiences, and senses of playful identity.

If not, it maybe time to simply regard them as parents of your kids’ friends.

Friends of both genders deserve more.

I’ve been that (single) woman in work circles and have been isolated socially by the wives. This was overseas. Just like my mother, I have the gift of gab and love meeting new people. I don’t know why women think another woman is so anxious to snatch up a dad bod with oodles of child support and alimony to pay if his marriage fails. I dealt with some real asshole women. Some of them were openly condescending towards their husbands.

Being attractive helps but I think the primary reason that the guys gravitated towards me was because I was nice and friendly towards them. Nothing sinister going on. That said, I bet if they were respected at home and connecting intimately with their wives, they wouldn’t have been drawn to me. I didn’t get the sense that any of them were hoping for more, they were just craving friendly, feminine energy. I’ve been there myself before.
