RHOBH Season 9

The previews next week made me uncomfortable -- LVP meeting with the other women with her documentation.

I was ambivalent about the whole stupid thing until the very end when Ken whipped out the texts showing that Teddi had been IN ON IT the whole time!!! Whaaaaaaat?????????? I can't even believe I care, but after her many protestations that she would "never lie," I have to wonder what on earth Teddi is doing.

Hes adopted, so not sure where you are going with that. He is still on VAnderpump rules from time to time because he works at SUR. Her daughter and son in law were on it this week as well.

Yes, we all know he's adopted. There were rumors at one point that he's Ken's biological son from an affair but not Lisa's. He resembles Ken, but not Lisa. I don't think that sparked the rumors, but you'll note that even on the show he was looking for his mother, not his father.

He's not either of theirs, biologically.

Same here. Is this storyline really the best they can do? YAWN.

Wish they brought back Joyce and Gretchen

This is the worst franchise. What the F happened to it?! Dogs! They're taking three episodes to debate a DOG? it is a new low.

I yearn for Brandi.

My take on it is that Teddy was on board with talking about the dog in front of the cameras with the VPD employee (John? whoever he is) to make Dorit look bad and introduce a story line, but naively didn't realize that Lisa was setting her up to be the bad guy in the fall out and didn't realize Lisa was going to be like "I don't want to talk about it" "Teddy knows about it" "Teddy brought it up" "Dorit is my friend" "I believe Dorit" and now she's pissed at being a pawn for Lisa. So yes, there are texts about them planning to discuss it on camera and Teddy confirms that "Lisa wanted me to know," to basically get Lisa's blessing that this should happen (talk sh*t about her friend on camera) but then is blindsided when Lisa plays innocent and that she's trying to defend Dorit and be her friend against Teddy dragging her through the mud. I think Teddy genuinely thought that Lisa wanted to turn on Dorit and was on board with helping that. Now she feels manipulated.

I bet they have those kinds of conversations all the freaking time. Discussing in advance what the scene will be. I don't think those texts vindicate Lisa V.

Exactly. But they can't talk about on camera the conversations they had about what they were going to talk about on camera. Same thing with the Lisa R thing when Lisa V said "Why didn't you bring Kyle into it?" Lisa V more than anyone sets up story lines and scenarios. Isn't she actually listed as a producer on VP Rules? The best is the reaction from Denise R who is so new to this situation she keeps just being like "I don't understand what's going on" "Why is everyone upset" -- hahaha.

I think you are on to something here. He does resemble Ken quite a bit! Of course Lisa would never let that cat out of the bag.

It irritates me that Vanderpump Dogs seems to only have the tiny, yippy dogs. Haven't seen any big, sloppy mutts that are generally found in shelters. I guess they're not stylish enough for LVP and co.

Isn't so annoying when people pronounce the word "texts" as "text-es"? I've never met anyone in real life who does that. Looking at you Ken.

Also Ken is looking frail. I used to like him but as he ages and loses his filter, he's less likable. He is still one million times more likable than PP though. I dont understand how that that lump of dough is allowed on the show.

I used to like this franchise but not sure if this season will hold my attention much longer if the main storyline is about that damn dog. Who gives a shit?

Gretchen?? She was never on RHOBH.

I don’t like this season. I’m worried about Erika, she seems very unhappy. I don’t like Denise. Kyle’s face is too tight.

Also I don’t understand why I should care about Lisa/Teddy text whatever when Dorit have away her problem dog to a rando!! That’s so irresponsible! If you have an aggressive dog:
Hire a trainer
Consult your vet
Consult the rescue/breeder
Pay a professional to care for the dog
Or if all of that fails, you have to do the right thing and put the dog down. You can’t just send an aggressive dog off with someone who “loves” it. You’re exposing the dog to a lot of risk of suffering and possibly people (although obvs Lucy is tiny and risk is relatively small but still).

The dog! I don’t care about the texts.

Sigh. Or do you think maybe it's easier when setting up on-camera scenarios to be working with smaller/handle-able dogs? If a dog can be held/sit on a lap, that's a much easier shoot to set up and pull off than worrying that a big, boisterous dog will be knocking into the guy with a boom mic.

I never understand why viewers don't think of production vs. true reality when they make comments like this.
