Candace Owens Twitter account suspended for racist tweets, hahahaha!

I am not sure how anyone can claim Owens came out of that looking better.

I am so thankful this morning that Nadler and Lieu are two of "yours" Democrats! She didn't call them stupid, but she should have called them stupid. They are so embarrassing for this country.

I am curious why you couldn't call them stupid? Is the government really attempting to tell her what she can and can't say? I see no attempt to incite violence. Do these Democrats understand the Constitution?

At least they aren't trying to legitimize Hitler, but you do you. Maybe that makes you proud.

You appear to be as ignorant as Lieu.
Watch for yourself. Start at the 5:35 point.
You will see how Nadler is unable to comprehend Owens' comments and how Lieu is put in his place as Owens responds to his stupid allegation.

Just watched the Owns, Lieu, Nadler video. It's astounding to me that Lieu would in the same breath show disbelief that Candace Owens was invited, then admit to not knowing much about Owns, and then use a video clip of her. There is so much wrong with this logic...

If you don't know much about someone, why would you use a video clip of them to prove a point. Wouldn't you research that aspect of someone's thoughts and positions so that you make an informed reference to the video clip? Clearly, then, being informed was not Lieu's priority, and he indeed knows very little about Candace Owens. If Lieu has demonstrated lack of understanding of Owen's positions and openly admits as much, what other basis does Lieu has for his disbelief of her invitation by the republicans? I am not one to attribute to malice what can be attributed to laziness and stupidity, and that's what I think happened here.

Nadler couldn't comprehend her comments because she resorted to her usual tactics of spewing lies when he is reasonably expecting an honest testimony. She should be thankful that they don't lock her up for lying to congress. That's against the law.

Nice try. Nadler didn’t hear what she said. He wasn’t listening.

Laziness and stupidity without malice -- the essense of the Dem party in 2019.

I think she was quite clear in her response.

Yes he was.

By sending Owens to testify about hate crimes and white nationalism, Republicans were trying to pull the same stunt that Mark Meadows used in the Michael Cohen testimony. The irony is, as the original post in this thread states, Owens's own Twitter account being suspended because of her racist tweets.

The irony is that you would still characterize her tweets as racist.

What? The Republicans brought her as their witness to talk about the problem of white nationalism. It was then pointed out that she recently gave an answer to a question basically saying if Hitler had just stuck to Germany, all would have been well. I've seen the whole clip, with the question - that's what it is.

I think the GOP look like fools for bringing someone who got their start at freaking Infowars to a Congressional hearing. That's the best you've got?

She can say whatever she likes within the bounds of the Constitution and the accepted judicial interpretation of the First Amendment. No one is saying otherwise, but it's not some trick or crime to play your own words back to you.

It amazes me that people buy this fake outrage grft.

It shows that LIeu did NOT listen to the whole clip--and would not give her a chance to respond. He presented it as if it were in totality--when it was not. To not give her a chance to respond was disgusting. Kind of like what the media did to the Covington kid. Same thing.

It is a shame.
