UVA is on that list too, dummy.

Ha! The stupidity of UVA boosters knows no bounds.

I think that anyone who is basing their college decision on what a magazine (whose purpose is entirely to make $$$) says is probably not very smart.

Both are shockingly low in the world rankings but Miami is rediculously low.

If he's going to grad school and University of Miami is cheaper, then the answer is obvious and doesn't need a 14 page thread. You kid may be fine being saddled with future debt but you know better. The less debt he can be in when he graduates the happier and more financially stable he will be.

And yet, they can probably spell ridiculous.

$280,000 all in, desirable permanent job offer from summer paid internship. But selfie with Drake after he drops by to sing God’s Plan at the U student center? DD says “priceless”.

This thread discussed the sorority's video at length. After that, I would never, ever allow my children to even consider U. of Miami. http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/524576.page

I can only speak for my own child who graduated from U Miami, got not only a darn good education but went onto Yale law. He has no regrets and in fact has recommended it highly to anyone who has asked about his experience there.

Those who put so much credibility into rankings (which by the way both schools are in the top 50) are missing the big picture. Those who cite a single incident better allot hours of time to go and see that EVERY college in American has "incidences" of this sort of another.

OP good luck with your decision, you cannot go wrong either way.

Was it meant to attract girls or boys?

If you're making a college decision based on what a website entitled "BroBible" says...you're not very smart. Sorry.

That just isn't a difference that will matter once in the real world.
