She filed for divorce in California. Will it be easy for her to get full physical custody? Isn't custody usually joint?

According to TMZ the divorce has nothing to do with an affair but his drug use and parenting of the children.

Also, "How you get them, is how you lose them" (ie if he cheats with you, he will cheat on you).

That said, I never understand how people have so much vitriol for the 'other woman' in these situations. It's like the bar for men is set extremely low regarding impulse control. The "other woman" isn't ethically wonderful - but the blame is owed to the cheater. Why Angelina got more of the blame than Brad is something I'll never get.

Because women really do hate women.

Uh you realize Jolie and Pitt didn't carry on some long illicit affair right? It was all over the tabloids before this that Aniston and Pitt were having trouble. He meets Jolie and very soon after he divorces Aniston.

My ex (many years ago) cheated on me, and went on to marry the other woman. Then he cheated on her, and they recently got divorced. They did not have any kids, so admittedly I had a moment of glee for a day or two. I do think relishing over divorce when kids are involved, is immature.

In some ways it is karma. Jolie also came between Laura Dern and Billy Bob Thorton. What goes around comes around. I feel bad for the kids, but not for Angelina.

Except common wisdom is that they did carry on an illicit affair during the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. There were all kinds of gossip stories about them and photos, etc. He was still very much married to Jen then.
