Sure, you are the epitome of education and all things intelligent but just can't identify sarcasm. You are so highly educated that you went to an ivy league with top1% SAT score FOLLOWED BY top 1% GRE or GMAT or LSAT score when you went to ivy league grad school or law school. You are so highly intelligent that the US government consults you for your expert opinion on policies and proposals. Rarely anything gets by without your approval on a new policy proposal. All hail your Superior education. |
Differet poster, but your sarcasm sounds like that of Trump's. First say something ridiculous and then when you caught, claim "sarcasm"! |
LOL. I hate all things Trump! That guy is a shame on humanity. What even makes you think it was nothing but sarcasm? I have had enough with these idiots claiming common sense equals intelligence as if they have patented commonsense when they were born and nobody has it. |
Same DP. I read your statement and nothing seemed to be sarcasm. In any case, the PP you quoted did not say anything which seemed like claiming what you have referred. So, your comment definitely does not seemed to be aligned. I can understand not liking "anti-intellectualism". I do not like "anti-intellectualism" either, however I do not claim I have more common sense than someone who does not have the same level of education that I have. Vilifying education for the ills of people's character is as wrong as vilifying lack of education for stupidity/racism/misogyny... That said, Trump's lack of interest to prepare for a debate shows his megalomania. He seems to have been bought into his ridiculous thoughts "I have good brain, I do consult my brain". He is a perfect example of where a Wharton education did not help a stupid. |
I am the OP quoted and that was my meaning. I am quite at ease with poorly educated or non-educated people, but not with those who lack curiosity or vilify education as if it were a bad thing, or think every problem has a simple solution they know about and the rest of the world of experts who have studied the very same problem and done a lot of hard work on it can't see it. These people exists in both parties, but this time around they have poster child in Trump. In 2008, Hillary lost my (primary) vote to Obama when she poop pooed the word of experts saying that the big surge in gas prices was temporary (it was) and went on the drill baby drill band wagon. Now, Trump is out-hillaring Hillary. |

"Louis Wade Sullivan, the only African-American to serve as a cabinet secretary under former President George H. W. Bush, said Wednesday that he’s crossing party lines to endorse the Democratic nominee for president, Hillary Clinton." |
So, Trump's visit to the AA church didn't sway this man, I guess. Did it sway any AA? |
Vote for Evan McMullin! |
Who cares? Don't you guys hate everything to do with George Bush and his administration? Can't pick and choose now that you are searching for straws to save HRC. |
Who cares? Don't you guys hate everything to do with George Bush and his administration? Can't pick and choose now that you are searching for straws to save HRC. Can we spend a little time on getting Billy boy to stop using the race card down South, it's getting a little old, don't you think? |
Let us know when he is polling at 1%. |
Wow, Trump is causing a huge trainwreck for the Republicans.
Is this the end of the Republican party? |
no they have one more round when they pin their hopes to an evangelical. That will be the end. |
Cruz 2020 will be the end. |
I disagree. I think this is it. |
