You bet it was. I have rescued a Beagle from the shelter and fallen completely in love with him. If anyone were to kick my dog, I would react the same way I would if they kicked my children. I would try to hurt them with everything I have. Including my 3-inch stilletos. |
| Why are you all feeding the troll who dredged up this old post and can't even use apostrophes? Honestly, not a thread that needed to be revived. |

I have to agree, I am currently fighting to have an ordinance put in place in my town to prevent school grounds from being used as a toilet for people's pets.
Our kids play on these grounds, play sports on the fields, yet everyday I see dog owners letting their dogs urinate and defecate all over school grounds. In my town they also think it's ok to walk your dog on the lawn side of the street instead of the curb side. People literally walk down the block as their dogs run along everyone's front lawns. I don't pay school taxes to have my kids school used as a toilet and I don't pay property taxes to have my front lawn used as a toilet either. I will be writing the first lady also to have a National Ordinance preventing the walking of dogs on any school grounds nationwide. |

WTF? What is up with the recent increase in resurrecting threads?

Sometimes its the opposite. I try to keep kids away from my dog who is 35" at the shoulder. Sometimes he gets scared when they run up to him screaming, and I'm about to have a baby and I don't want him to be scared of kids (FYI he usually does great).
I was at Petsmart filling out paperwork for the vet, when I heard a woman shout and I turned around and her kid had CLIMBED on top of my dog. |
OMG so would I!!! #1 for that person being such an A-hole. #2 because if my dog were to try to protect himself he would be the one put down, even though he was the one being abused. In fact, I'd probably do it for someone else's dog too. |
