Bolsinaro tried a coup and lost. He should have been prosecuted.

I don't know what the deal is with Sarkozy, but I don't recall him being that good a guy.

I am not cheering on this prosecution, it is baseless and obviously political.

Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy has been sentenced to five years in jail after being found guilty of criminal conspiracy in a case related to millions of euros of illicit funds from the late Libyan leader Col Muammar Gaddafi.

Sarkozy, who claims the case is politically motivated, was accused of using the funds from Gaddafi to finance his 2007 election campaign.

In exchange, the prosecution alleged Sarkozy promised to help Gaddafi combat his reputation as a pariah with Western countries.

Only a vile person could try to compare seeking campaign funding from a known terrorist with the promise to help rehabilitate his reputation on the world stage with this ridiculous trumped up case against Comey - a case that will almost certainly tank once a federal judge gets a good gander at it.

A subsequent refiling was similarly rejected with the same guidance.

EDVA has a rocket docket and the judges won’t tolerate unnecessary delays because the beauty pageant loser insurance attorney needs to take a course in prosecution first; USAs are meant to have all their ducks in a row before they seek indictment. Comey is entitled to a trial in 30 days if he requests it.
