The White House literally went looking through all the murders in America for a suitably pretty white victim and any kind of federal angle so they could slap on another charge and have a press conference.

It’s so craven.

Did you see the video of what happened to this girl? Maybe its because I have a pretty neice about her age but it brought tears to my eyes. The way the poor girl knew there was nothing she could do and just put her face in her hands crying. And no one helped her. I’ve never voted Republican once in my life but anyone human should be appalled by this.

This guy had been arrested 14 times. He shouldn’t have been on the street.

The Trump appointed Republican DA let him go.

So what? I'm SO tired of this "well a republican did it SO...." nonsense. I dont care who let him out. Yes, repeat offenders should be locked away for a very long time. If you think that's even a controversial opinion, then you are beyond help yourself.

You're the one that started down the "I've never voter Republican but" angle.

What's your point? There are lots of guys who shouldn't be on the street, but are, because they have nowhere to go. Do you think threatening to send them to Alligator Alcatraz is the answer?

Is there anyone that doesn’t think this guy should have been sent to Alligator Alcatraz to keep him off the street? There are absolutely some people who have demonstrated a level of violence and mental illness that should be permanently taken off the streets. Everyone associated with this guy, even his mom, acknowledges he was one of those people.

You’re only tired when it’s your person who let them out. You gleefully blame “blue cities”.

You vote yo defund mental heath support then your marches it kills someone.

Do better.

AA is unconstitutional. What’s wrong with the local prison?

DP, this person was far beyond mental health “supports”, he should have been involuntarily committed to a locked institution long ago. I do not want to hear any more about the “rights” of the mental ill to live their lives the way they want regardless of the danger they pose to other people.

I temporarily moved to Charlotte a couple of weeks ago and am surprised at the number of of homeless people and beggars it has. I went to my local CVS twice, and a man just sits on the ground at the entrance asking everyone for a few dollars. It appears to be his permanent daily place of work.

You run towards a gun, but away from a knife.

That's just a temporary holding facility for deportations of illegals/criminals. Not a proper prison for violent offenders.

Safety is an illusion. You can get killed walking your doggie in a rich gated neighborhood.

Only fools rely on anyone else for their own safety. Never put your safety in the hands of others.

It has been reported in Ukrainian media. Why are you surprised? Men under 60 were not allowed to leave the country for 3.5 years now, unless you are close to the clown's party. Thousands of young rich Ukrainians men are partying all over Europe, while regular Ukrainians locked down to die there.
