I’m an organizer. No one pays me. I sign up to host on a free website and people show up and yell/chant/sing/dance for 2 hours and go home. People are forming relationships and exercising their first amendment rights. We don’t like what Musk is doing. Many Tesla owners don’t like it. They drive by and honk and give thumbs up.

No one at the takedowns are violent or vandalizing. That does happen but not part of the official Tesla Takedown movement.

Musk is destroying lives. He’s lucky only his cars are being destroyed. I don’t say this as a threat. Just a fact that American are awash in guns and it’s only a matter of time someone whose livelihood has been destroyed by Musk will snap.

I do not organize any tesla protests but I am pretty sure the organizers are not being paid. Maybe you should volunteer to organize one and if there is pay it would offset your supposed financial injury. I mean that would be mythical compensation for mythical injury.

The injury is that we avoid driving a car that we paid for. It means I am already losing money not driving it, can't sell it because it would be a loss, so I have to wait until the thugs calm down and realize this is not a "winning game". Once they get it into their stupid brains that it's expensive to their own bottom line to damage property of others and enough of them face legal music it will stop. In the meanwhile have to use an old car, which is polluting. Not something I want to do, but I don't have much choice now unlike loaded celebrities and those for whom money falls from the sky.
