I understand that your world view is very small, but if you were to pay even the least bit of attention you’d see that these are taking place across the country and the world. Here in the US they are quite tame as compared to the rest of the world. |
Not sure what you are arguing about here. You have a right to protest. But you don’t have a right to use property of others for your protesting. The latter is a crime and will be treated as such. A law obedient middle aged lady will go to jail and pay a huge fine if she is caught vandalizing a Tesla, no excuses given. You will go to prison for a while for arson despite the fact that you are burning down whatever you perceive to be a symbol of fascism. Harassing people for driving a car also has repercussions, as you may encounter retaliation or at the minimum a nasty verbal exchange that won’t be helping your cause in anyway. Arguing that you somehow have a right to take over someone’s property for your case is pointless. You will never win. So, keep on dancing, and hands off other people’s already purchased cars. |
No one was arguing, just correcting someone’s silly assertion that this was some fringe group protesting, and also pointing out that the protests in the US are tame. You are the one that seeks to be operating under some paranoid delusions about people “out to get you.” I think that most normal people already feel some shame about their teslas, but we also understand that it’s a big financial ask to just get rid of them. |
If the left keys the cars of enough lefties, then they will start getting what they want. It’s absolutely brilliant.
As someone on the right, I find it all to be enormously entertaining. |
Do loopy liberals at least know the difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2 Teslas? Damaging a Gen 1 that was purchased well before the 2024 elections seems misguided. |
Yes, they look very similar, silly with clown emojis. |
You are seething with frustration and playing it off. I have a teenager, this isn’t new to me. |
Whatever you say. Looking forward to earnings. Leon’s going to talk about robots or some other stupid thing, and everyone will laugh because just like his cars his robots are way, way behind. He can call them Edsel bots. |
If you’d bother to read the thread, this was about a fun dance party. I mean, if you’d prefer to fill your head with Fox News violence erotica, whatever. I won’t kink shame. |
It’s a complete meme stock, way more so than Game Stop, so it will still pump for a while. Fortunately, the boycotts will continue into next quarter. Maybe not even boycotts, really, just brand demise.
Financial Performance Revenue: $19.3 billion, down 9% year-over-year, missing Wall Street's expectation of $21.45 billion. Net Income: $409 million, a 71% decline from the same quarter last year. Earnings Per Share (EPS): $0.27 (non-GAAP), below the anticipated $0.43. Vehicle Deliveries: 336,681 units, a 13% decrease year-over-year, marking Tesla's weakest quarter since 2022. |
The Tesla brand is done. The dance party will continue because it’s a great on-ramp for people new to protesting. We need to stay united and visible to push back on this fascist movement. |
I'm old enough to remember when, just a few years ago, Republicans laughed at the concept of hate crimes because they said thoughts can't be criminalized, only actions can be criminalized. Now, they say defacing someone's property = terrorism.

Hey TeslaTakedowners! Recognizing this is the intent, my Tesla has now been egged and keyed in AU Park. Really well done! I definitely feel deep shame over my car purchase, and not at all radicalized against your position. |
So, you are going to leave me alone then after next quarter? Oh, thank you, kind master, for allowing me to drive my car I bought with my f-ing hard earned dollars without having to worry about the nutjobs damaging it if I park it out of sight for more than a few min. ![]() |
Defacing someone's property has always been punishable. Tesla activists don't want this to be punishable and are brainwashed that they can and should get away with it because it's "righteous", and the person whose property they damage and who has to pay for it and waste their time is obligated to surrender their property. Because this is so widespread it creates fear in the community of Tesla drivers that their vehicles or themselves could be targeted. In other words, you are terrorizing innocent people making them believe it's very likely their car will be damaged if publicly parked or they could be confronted with aggressive behavior towards them for no other reason but ownership of this specific brand vehicle. It's why the entire movement using private person's vehicles and burning down dealerships where regular people work and send their already purchased cars for repair is considered "terrorism". It's because you terrorize your fellow citizens. You aren't terrorizing Musk or going down to picket Tesla factories, you aren't just boycotting near dealerships. You literally made a trend having regular people damage cars parked next to them in the public parking lots. It's like you are to dense to understand that these cars are owned by someone, people like you, and that damaging ANY car carries repercussions in form of fines and having to pay for damages. If you don't get any of the above, then you need to go back to the kindergarten or preschool where such concepts of damaging other's property or being aggressive towards others is explained at your mental capacity level. ![]() |
