Why are the Right losing their ever living minds over Trump not releasing files? He was IN pictures with Epstein. Did they think he always innocent and would show Biden and Obama lived in the island? He lies about everything. Why is this the hill to die in. My Republican family members are beside themselves over this. They wanted the list and are now very much not proud trumpers.....and honestly feel betrayed.

My guess is that there were into Trump because of the X-files factor. They felt like they were part of a movement that was uncovering the “truth” about the government and conspiracy theories. They are also rabid anti-pedophile/“protect the children” types. Mind you, they drive huge pick ups that could squash a kid in a parking lot without them even seeing the kid and vote to take away food and schooling for children, but they know pedo=bad. They can rely on that equation for a bit of morality.

So, when Trump promised and the didn’t deliver the names, they are crushed;
1- the are no longer the insiders taking apart the vast government conspiracy
2- their ability to adhere to their moral code has been taken away. They can’t go after the pedos with pitchforks and feel betrayed their leader isn’t allowing this.

There was definitely something. A LOT of something. And now the Trump administration is trying to disappear it, memory hole it, cover it up and wants us to forget about it and move on. That is incredibly damning.
