I flew a couple of weeks ago. As we were about to land, I realized that the people killed in the Potomac collision were at the point in the flight where you think, “We made it. We’re here.” It made me so sad.

There isn’t a reason in the world that a f-ing T-38 should be near DCA. What the hell is going on?!?!

Cops and military really start playing loosey-goosey with the rules when conservatives come into power. They know they won’t be held accountable. And especially with the current crop of leaders who are visibly breaking laws.

This.....I'm sure we will start to see the bad kind of cops starting to act up again because Dumpy will just pardon them...or wait maybe he will have one of his beloved J6ers come beat up the cop. I'm so confused in this timeline-hopefully they will put out a manual with the new laws and who is deemed good and who is bad.

Yes....I think about those people on that flight often.

Did Trump ever meet with the families from that flight or offer any presidential words?

You don't remember his comforting words? The next morning he ranted at a press conference that the crash was due to DEI policies.

T-38s are training planes. So some 23 year old was going way too fast and too low in one of the most problematic civilian-heavy traffic spaces in the country. Absolute BS.

It was FOUR T-38s doing a flyover at Arlington Cemetery.

On Friday, Delta Air Lines Flight 2983 was cleared for takeoff at the Reagan airport at about 3.15pm, at the same time four US air force T-38 Talon aircraft were inbound, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement.

The jets were heading for a flyover of Arlington National Cemetery when the Delta aircraft received an onboard alert of a nearby aircraft. Air traffic controllers “issued corrective instructions to both aircraft”, according to the FAA, which intends to investigate.

Deranged, dementia-brain Trump rambled about "dwarves and epileptics and amputees!"

Regional flights only for DCA. Northeast, Midwest and southeast. Going to the west? Use Dulles.

This makes sense to me.

In the long run DCA should just shut down; it was built when that location is completely different than it is now, and it’s not meant for a huge volume of flights.

This is so dumb. Sorry, but we don’t need flyovers at Arlington. They already do the cannon salute. If one of those flyovers runs into a commercial airliner, all you do is traumatize the family of the veteran/soldier being interred at ANC plus at least 100 other traumatized families.

Who was being laid rest that necessitated a flyover?

I'm not brace enough to fly out of DCA.

I fly a lot and it takes a lot to scare me from flying. DCA was always my airport of choice because it’s so convenient, but now I’m flying mostly out of IAD.
