I am old enough to remember when some crazy twat was trying to ban “Beloved” from an AP literature class. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/fairfax-county-parent-wants-beloved-banned-from-school-system/2013/02/07/99521330-6bd1-11e2-ada0-5ca5fa7ebe79_story.html |

Explicit books? Or graphic novels? Can you even keep track of what is under discussion? |

screw you and your dumb abortion restrictions and "just use birth control" nonsense
anyone with a brain knows the overwhelming majority of terminations past the first trimester are done for medical reasons - either the life of the mother is in danger OR the fetus has some horrible abnormality/something incompatible with life Stop stepping into decisions that should be made ONLY between the mother (and partner) and their medical team. Life isn't black and white. It just isn't. The parents should not have the choice to end an ill-fated pregnancy taken away from them. It might preserve future fertility for that couple, and it certainly will lessen the pain and trauma that family faces if they are forced to go forward with a pregnancy like that. Seriously, I am so tired of you bible thumpers who just refuse to see the human side of the draconian laws you want to pass to "save the babies" or some BS. |
Here is the quote: “Gender Queer, Lawn Boy, and This Book is Gay. So you should be happy that these sexually graphic books are being accessed by kids.” Sexually graphic books. There are many of those in HS libraries. PP is only concerned about the LGBTQ ones. |
| Very glad my fellow Virginia voters said no to the GOP’s perverted obsession with genitals and what people do with them and birth from them and read about them. Try focusing on real issues when you’re talking in public, hmm? Keep the weird sex stuff at church. |
Oh, the irony. The total lack of self-awareness. Dems are the ones who WANT their favored graphically sexual books to be available in school libraries. Not Rs. How about you keep your weird sex stuff out of our schools? |
WOW. Let's all absorb that for a second. |
No one said there are sexually explicit books in elementary school libraries. What are you babbling about? DP |
Right back atcha. You can expose your kids to all the graphically sexual material you want - but you don't get to place that material in a public school library where anyone can walk in and look at it. How would you feel about the book "Irredeemable Damage" being available to teens in high school? |
DP. Keep it in your own yard. It does not belong at a school. |
I can talk about any issues I please. Glad you're happy that your kids can read about girls giving blowjobs, using dildos and vibrators. |
Which PP? You're the one interrogating people, even after being given the answers. |
Which other books have sexually graphic illustrations/pictures? Please list them. |
You're proving the point. Abortion IS the one issue that Democrats obsess over. As another poster - or maybe you - put it: having "unrestricted access to abortion" is your top priority. End of story, indeed.
