This post and the 2 pages like it are pretty funny. You guys are way overwrought. No way these are McD parent posts. No dog in the fight, but I’m guessing local ISL folks who are just jealous. |
| Honest question did Visi post like this when they beat McD last year? |
I think you may be surprised. Not everyone in the program is happy. |
| There are many girls and families at Stone Ridge with so much class. It is a shame that they are dragged down by association. I feel for them. |
| feel for them. probably play on same club team as girls at mcd/other balt schools or committed to same school. |
| I bet those of you bashing a program for posting a group of happy kids on a win, are the same ones who get all excited over winter games and tournament wins. Let the team enjoy happiness. Who cares |
^^^^ this!! There are pages and pages here of gleeful commentary about St James, spooky nook etc! Seriously - move on! Lots more games this week to bash SR about. |
The words "so much class" typed onto an anonymous messaging board discussing schools whose tuition exceeds $45k/year. The writer doth protest too much. Stone Ridge is a fine school. They have a strong and ascendant lacrosse program. They are all kids and are going to have "classy" moments and "not so classy moments." That is life with teenagers. |
| Teenagers will be teenagers. What was amusing was watching a group of fathers lose their minds in response to the student-run IG page. |
| Bullis with a big win today! |
| Did Bullis beat Good Counsel?? |
No. GC won 24-6 |
|
This was just an instagram post however they’ve burned a bridge with McDonogh and won’t be invited back next year.
SR girls are known for their obnoxious behavior that is not reigned in by either parents nor coaches nor administration. If you want your daughter to be a part of that, well, that’s your decision. |
My kid played in the game after the McD/SR one. I watched the entire second half (in the rain), and at no point did I see anyone from either team act obnoxiously. SR won, seemed happy, and got to the sidelines. I didn't even notice the picture they took until you all started frothing at the mouth and asked my daughter to show me (although the typo was funny). BI then ran them off the field, and they were happy. And then McD ran BI off the field and they were happy. All three teams looked like regular kids in the freezing, driving rain playing a scrimmage, so there were not a lot of Superbowl/World Series-winner celebrations. I would say our kids were as happy to beat SR as they were to beat McD. Holier than thou PP, you are a clown. |
I have to agree amongst the other area schools SR has gained a not-so-good reputation of not knowing how to win or lose with class and it all starts at the top... |
