Do you think it was political? (Wearing blue) |
Interesting that’s what you first noticed. |

Im in my late 30s and only recognized Courtney cox - didn’t recognize anyone else
I only learned today this was “Star studded” |

I don’t think Kirsten’s purple book was about racial diversity. It was about trying to find more common ground with people of different viewpoknts, so instead of red America bad blue America we have more purple people. Chris evans has a foundation that does similar work. I’m sure she’d say ethnic/racial diversity is also great but I don’t think that was the main point of her book. She’s from Michigan I think.

Is this a joke? Do people not understand you don’t know anything a person just by looking at them even if you Think you do? |

I saw this on my twitter feed and tried to figure out which academic sent it to me and wondered how they got away with spending grant money like that.

| didn't read the thread. Did you notice Mark Rober? Did you discuss how many takes it takes to get this take? Why are they all dressed alike? |

I am Asian and I do not care if white people have all white parties. I am just so happy that they are having parties. That what matters.
Happy people who go to parties and are invited to parties will not shoot other people. (Hopefully) Also, I am sick of all the political correctness. I want equal opportunity based on merit for - education, jobs, access to health services, legal protection, civil rights and housing. I however do not care if you do not invite me to your parties. The truth is that I also do not invite everyone to my personal celebrations. I call who I want to call. |
| Everyone wearing some shade of blue or neutral tells me this group photo was planned. Like when a bride and groom annoyingly send out “palette cards” with their invitations, so that group shots will look coordinated. |
No, they aren't. Most people are wearing other colors (lots of black, I see red and yellow and green, too). It's just there are two people in bright blue and then Courtney and Jen are both in powder/cornflower blue in the foreground, and it gives the impression of cohesiveness even though the only thing consistent about their clothes is that they are casual and dressed for colder weather. Not weird for Idaho. |
+1 The "It was coordinated" PP is overthinking this big time. "Palette cards"? WTF? This isn't a wedding. There are other colors, plus: Shades of blue are popular just now, period, for everyone, not just celebrities. It's a very common color. It should be the only color we're discussing about this photo, BTW..... |
Those are neither powder nor cornflower blue. |
| Jen looks horrible in those big glasses. |
| Go look at magic johnson’s vacation pictures. No diversity. |
